I do not recommend at all! Very shady throughout the entire sales process all the way up to paperwork! I did not end up buying the vehicle. Started out dealing with someone from my internet inquiry and entire sales process all the way up to paperwork! I did not end up buying the vehicle. Started out dealing with someone from my internet inquiry and after about a week into searching a new person by the name of Paul Sanchez got into the picture. We had a few issues on pricing and someone who I was lead to believe was a manager (Andrew Boaz) stepped in to help ease my concerns. I made an appointment to drive 5.5 hours to dealership to see/purchase the new vehicle but as the day drew nearer, the price started changing more. Stuff that was already on the truck started being added into the cost of the truck which I didn’t agree with. He gave me a price originally then started adding a security system, window tint, and a spray in bed liner to the price which added almost two thousand to the cost. As I questioned this Paul got rude and we actually started arguing on the phone. He kept talking over me to the point I hung up on him. This was the day before we drove down. At this point I text him back and said I wasn’t interested in the truck any longer. He text back and apologized and said he would remove $700 off the charges for those add ins. Later on he actually contacted me and said the (new) truck we wanted had an AC issue and wouldn’t be available for a couple weeks. We were already in route to Dallas, so we continued along, with the idea of looking at whatever else they might have in stock. The morning of our appointment we were met by a salesman named Matthew Hoopes who said he would be helping us because Paul got promoted to manager. Matthew was fairly helpful and took us out on the lot to search for a comparable vehicle which was supposed to be there but then ended up being on their other lot several miles away. That vehicle wasn’t what we wanted so, we went back to the main lot and looked some more. We were then shown a Lariat edition F-150 instead of the XLT model we were looking at. The Lariat was a little more expensive but way nicer than we had went for. We decided we would take this truck. Once we got down to paperwork we had this cost issue of add ons and then the up charge because there is a “chip shortage” and the market gave them the idea that they can charge more for vehicles. I disagreed and said the sticker price was what I would go with, if I were to buy a vehicle, and I wouldn’t be interested at their inflated pricing due to “the market” and the “shortage” of chips. Paul came back into the picture (I don’t know why because I had already told Matthew I didn’t want to deal with Paul) and started trying to negotiate a price. I told him what I would pay and we came to an agreement and he had me sign for that price and walked away. A fairly pushy “hard sell” closer guy named Zack Zhiba came over to the desk and started giving me numbers and told me they wouldn’t do the price I had just agreed upon i said I wouldn’t go higher and he said he wouldn’t do that price so we agreed we were done. Zack walked off and I started to leave but was still talking to Matthew whose attitude went straight downhill and he became rude and was talking to me in a dismissive tone. So I thanked him for his time and left. I text him after I left and told him if they changed their minds I was a buyer and he said no. This was on a Saturday. Monday morning Zack calls me back to say thanks for coming in and whatever and I told him thanks and that they missed that sale over a couple hundred dollars. He said they didn’t want to miss the sale like that and he agreed to sell the truck to me again and get the truck to me. All was well until a guy named Willie called about an extended warranty. I declined but he kept on and I told him I didn’t want to change my financing numbers so he said he would see what he could do. He finally came back with a deal that only changed my note by a little over $400. At the time I wasn’t sure if the coverage, 4 years/48,000 miles was a good deal so I asked him to call me back in ten minutes. My plan was to reach out to a friend and ask about this coverage and didn’t want to tell Willie that so I said he had caught me asleep and call back in ten minutes so I could get my thoughts together. I called my buddy and asked about the coverage and he said I should get the truck from Grapevine and buy a longer term plan from him. He told me he could do a 10 year plan for $3200. When Willie called back I declined the 4 year plan and asked about a 10 year which he said they had one for $3800. I asked Willie if the $3800 was the best price for that plan and he agreed it wasn’t and offered it for $3400. I jumped on it because it was close enough to what my friend offered that I wanted to wrap it all up in the new truck note and be done. Now the wait for the truck to arrive. Matthew shows up in the truck and we are ready to sign all the paperwork and be done. We start signing papers and when it come to the warranty the term is 60 months(5years) and the cost is $3400. I tell Matthew who tried calling Willie 3-4 times with no answer. Matthew finally goes outside and makes a call and comes back in saying they don’t offer a 10 year plan and I was wrong. He told someone on the phone to pull the tape of the phone call with Willie and I. I told him let’s listen to the call and if I was mistaken I would take the truck and warranty he showed up with. They decided to cancel the deal and leave with the truck instead. Hahaha Willie even called and tried to convince me I was wrong by saying “remember when I called you and you said you just woke up and weren’t thinking clearly so would I call you back?” I had said that only to buy some time, not because it was actually true. (Yes I lied but I wanted to check out what I was getting without making a quick decision on the phone) Anyway rather than listen to the call and seek me the truck (IF I was wrong) they chose to leave. Matthew’s attitude went directly downhill when I brought up the warranty issue and stayed in the dumps until he left. His biggest concern through all this was that I leave him a great review. Hopefully this review is clear enough. More
