I was quoted the exact price to replace the coil packs on my 2015 F150. They only replaced one coil but charged me what it would cost for all of the coils. The truck was at their mercy. They got the truck done quickly but misled me on what they were doing. I’m in the car business and am aware of labor times and parts prices. What they charged me for is the exact price it should be to replace all the coils( which is what I assumed they were doing). When my wife returned to Chicago I checked the truck and they only changed 1 coil ( the one that was misfiring) when I call Jody in service she had no answer for me. She knew what she did and took advantage of me and my wife in the situation. The receipt of work had no labor rates on it and didn’t have a breakdown of costs. It just had a manually entered price. The price of what it costs to replace all the coils. When I called about this she tried to lie on top of the issue and said it would have cost more if they did all the coils ( around $2000). It is sad and disappointing that they conduct business this way. I hope she becomes a better person and feels shame knowing she got caught. I don’t expect a reply but the correct thing to do would be to refund me the difference for the parts and labor they did not perform. Shady business More
