A little surprised that there was not a walk-through of the vehicle before the keys were handed over for the test drive. However, salesman Carlos Perez was personable and easygoing without getting in your face at all. He knew when to hang back and let us talk. Really it was the trade discussion and financing convo with sales management team that took off one star. I had to get a little more aggressive on the trade. I could have used a little more wooing with the service deals that I ended up declining. Throw something in for the customer. I bought a $32,000 car from you and you did not get a piece of junk in trade no matter what your version of KBB tells you. I could have gone to two other dealerships that also reached out and wanted my business. But hey, it's a car sale! I don't have extraordinarily high expectations. :) More

He listened to me intently as I was describing the options that I wanted to have on the Crosstrek that I would eventually buy. Shawn is very knowledgeable about Subaru vehicles. He did not pressure me into buying options that I did not need. While I was at Shawn's office, Steve Dempster, the Sales Manager, came over and greeted me. Steve is very friendly and helpful. After six months of shopping at other dealerships, for the same Crosstrek, and having bad experiences, I told Shawn and Steve that I would purchase the Crosstrek from them, if the price was right. While they were away, I had an opportunity to look around and observe. I noticed that other customers were being treated with respect, the showroom was clean, the waiting area has comfortable furniture, massage chairs, WiFi, TV, and an area with coffee and snacks. Shawn came back with a great price. The purchase of the Crosstrek went smoothly as the Business Manager, Patrick Norton, explained the paperwork and other products thoroughly. I can't comment on the Service Department because the Crosstrek is new. More

This was my first time buying a car and, after going to two other Subaru dealerships and not having the greatest experience/best of luck there, I'm happy with my decision to work with this dealership. My salesman, Art Otremba, was a gem. He showed me all of the features of the car I was interested in buying, took me on a fun test drive, was thorough and complete in answering my questions and providing explanation and details, and there was no pressure. I felt comfortable and was glad to have worked with such a friendly, helpful and professional dealership. I would recommend this place to my family/friends, or for anyone interested in Subaru, to check out this location for sure! I am now the proud owner of a Subaru Legacy. More

Great No Pressure Team of Professionals I am always hesitant when shopping for a car due to high pressure salesmen. Granite Subaru is the exception. They are down to earth, real people who I am always hesitant when shopping for a car due to high pressure salesmen. Granite Subaru is the exception. They are down to earth, real people who understand that buying a car is a big investment these days with sticker prices the cost of what I paid for my first home. My salesman, Gary Smith, was amazing and so patient with me while trying to decide which model Subaru I wanted to purchase. He showed me what I wanted to see and did not try to get me to spend more than I wanted to. When I finally decided on the model I wanted, I met with Pat Norton in the business office to work out the details for financing, purchasing an extended warrantee and a service plan. He showed me so many different options until I found one that met my budget. The vehicle I purchased as the showroom model, so the battery was dead and had to be jump started. This dealership when above and beyond when Michael Wright stepped in the office and told me they were installing a brand new battery, which gave me peace of mind since I travel long distances and did not want to get stuck with a dead battery. I picked the car up the next morning and waited just a few minutes for them to put the new battery in the car, then I was off and running. It was a great experience at Granite Subaru! Much better than the previous ownership of Prime! More

I was a woman on a mission, I knew what I wanted, what I didn’t want, and I didn’t want to be fed any BS along the way. Steve picked up on that and handled our deal accordingly. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or like he was being pushy (which is good because I had already walked on two other salesmen elsewhere who did not heed my warning, and I didn’t even have to give Steve that verbal warning, because he did a killer job of reading my situation). Steve was recommended to us by a 40 year Subaru owner and I will surely pass that recommendation along to others. I’ve had the car for a week and I have no buyers remorse, nor do I feel that any aspect of our deal was unfair. Our financing guy was great, too, unfortunately I was a little too excited to drive off in my new car to remember his name, which speaks to my poor memory, not his lack of being remembered. He got me a killer financing deal with an extended warranty and service package. I wish I could give him his proper credit in the deal. This is my first Subaru and I’m going to hazard a guess that it won’t be my last! More
