Don't use this dealer. They were not honest in negotiations *Buyer beware.* I purchased a used vehicle from Grand Valley Auto in Lakewood, CO. I negotiated an "Out the Door" price, which universally means pur *Buyer beware.* I purchased a used vehicle from Grand Valley Auto in Lakewood, CO. I negotiated an "Out the Door" price, which universally means purchase price, fees, and complete taxes. After my first offer, the salesman returned and asked me to split the difference to help them cover taxes. I did and we shook on it. However, the dealer only calculated state taxes and RTD and not city/county taxes. Therefore, they lied to me. During these interactions, I was shown no paperwork and neither signed nor initialed any intermediate offers where I would have caught the issue. After reaching an agreement, the process to finish up the paperwork took over 1 ½ hours before we could leave. Given our need to leave quickly due to the late hour and needing to get back to work, I rushed through signing paperwork because I trusted the deal upon which we shook. *Shame on me* for signing without reviewing and *shame on the dealer* for lying. I admit I signed without reviewing anything. Had I reviewed the paperwork, I would have caught the issue. Subsequent discussions with the dealer did not yield satisfactory results. I will never use this dealer again and encourage you not to. More
