I honestly wish I had chosen another dealership and certainly another sales person other than Rae Canguesta.. At first, Rae Canguesta was relatively friendly throughout the buying process and she even agreed to throw all weather mats in for free.. However, it became clear that although Rae seemed friendly and attentive, that once the deal was done, all my needs and requirements as a new owner of a 2015 Subaru Forester meant nothing. Essentially, once she had me for my money, I was a problem to be cast a side rather than a paying customer who had needs that had yet to be met. Her lack of quality customer service was first apparent with the feature walk through process. As Rae had another customer coming in, she outsourced the walk through to a different salesman who didn't even remove all the tape from parts of my car. I had to show him where it was left on and he had to go through it about three times. Also, he did not show me how to correctly set up the voice controls. I still honestly don't know how to use them. Her disdain for this entire process only continued from there. The second time that she failed to fulfill her duties as a sales person was when she made an agreement to throw in the all weather mats. At the end of our negotiation, she went to go grab them and realized that the accessory area had been locked up for the night. As there was no way to open it that night, she agreed to bring the all weather mats out to me the next day early in the morning. I waited the next day for her, and not only was she late (which she notified me over text), she ended up not bringing them out to me because she said her supervisor would not let her. I asked if there was any other way for me to attain the mats and essentially she said that I would have to drive the 45 minutes from my house to the dealership to grab them. I explained to her that I was only in Long Island for a couple of days to visit family and that it was a huge inconvenience to have to return to the dealership, but to no avail. As I was leaving Long Island to return to Ohio, I had to stop by the dealership (which took another 30 minutes) and grab them. She didn't even greet me personally, but left them with the receptionist. Again, I was cast aside rather than treated with the respect that any customer, or person really, deserves. The final act the clearly showed to me that I did not matter was the handling of my license plates/address. As an out of state buyer, I reiterated throughout the ENTIRE process that I needed my license plates and all materials mailed to a different address than the one on my license. I must have said this about fifteen times. When I returned to Ohio with my vehicle, I waited and waited to receive any material from the dealership. I also kept calling Rae (she called me too) to make sure that everything was going as we had worked out. She assured me that all my license plates were on the way to my current address and I had to be patient. 3 weeks passed. I still had not received any material and certainly not my license plates. I went to my old address as well, but due to my very intense and long workdays, every time I was able to go to my old address, nobody was home. I began to panic as the deadline for my temporary plates was fast approaching. Rae kept assuring me throughout this that they had gotten my address correct. Finally, I was able to catch the new tenants of my old address and asked her if she had anything addressed to me. Low and behold, there were my license plates. When I called Rae and told her that this had occurred, she basically said" Oops, well isn't your old address walking distance from your new one. It couldn't have been that inconvenient." OF COURSE IT WAS INCONVENIENT. Not only had she failed to mail my items to the correct address, but she did not even go back into the system and alter the address after I raised concerns. This forced me to have to stand watch near my old address for multiple days, leave notes in their mailbox, and eventually attain my license plates through basically pure luck. Clearly, after Rae and Grand Prix Subaru had my money, they did not care at all about my satisfaction or comfort. When I raised concerns about all of this with both Rae and her manager, they stopped contacting me all together. I still have not received a single piece of paperwork mailed to my current address. In closing, I would never do business with Rae or Grand Prix Subaru again. They just wanted my money, which they got. After the deal, I became nothing more than an inconvenience to them, even though their actions were inconveniencing me. They failed to uphold their end of the bargain multiple times. I honestly wish that I would have bought the car from another dealership and certainly another person. I would advise any future customers to avoid Grand Prix Subaru and certainly avoid Rae Canguesta. More

First time *new car* buyer...Painless and VERY positive exp. I had the pleasure of working with Jamie and Jayson of Grand Prix Subaru on purchasing my first brand new car. I met with Jamie after making an onlin I had the pleasure of working with Jamie and Jayson of Grand Prix Subaru on purchasing my first brand new car. I met with Jamie after making an online inquiry and setting up a test drive for that same night, and as fate would have it, she ended up being someone I knew from the Gym. After sitting down and discussing my wants and needs with her, Jamie helped me find the perfect-fit while keeping my budget in mind. The test drive was fun, the pricing was described in a straight-forward fashion, and I never felt like I was being push to make any decisions. Jayson (finance) went above and beyond to help get the financing that best suited me, and gave me multiple options to choose from. The people and environment at Grand Prix Subaru were head and shoulders above the other dealerships I visited, and I would highly suggest them (specifically Jamie and Jayson) to anyone in the market for a New/Used vehicle. From the moment I walked into the dealership I was greeted with a smile by Jamie and she definitely treated me like family. At other car dealerships it's basically an assembly line going into it, but Jamie definitely took the time out to explain every option and detail to me. I test drove 3 cars and she worked with me on explaining every intricate detail right down to the radio and Bluetooth availability. She was patient and professional and walked me through the whole process. I'm definitely going to recommend that everyone goes here and speaks with her. She was truly wonderful. More
