Won't justify fees other than that's "just the way it is" Took $1000 off car and then tacked on $1044 in fees. $699 Delivery Service Charge. $44 Registration. $299 Transfer Fee. Well, I'm paying cash and re Took $1000 off car and then tacked on $1044 in fees. $699 Delivery Service Charge. $44 Registration. $299 Transfer Fee. Well, I'm paying cash and registering it in another state. They have clean and clear title, so there is no need for me to pay THEM registration and transfer fee. So I'd end up paying it twice. All they need to do for me is sign bottom of title. That's it. They agreed and said 'that's the way it is". Then the $699 Delivery Service Charge is a negotiable thing with dealers. It's NOT a Destination Charge, which IS mandatory. I asked what did you do to the car to justify the Delivery, or Service. They said nothing. That's just what we charge. There is no delivery. There is no service done on the car. I asked for a Bill of Service for the work that was done on the car when they took it in from auction. Said they don't have one. So how do you justify the $699 charge? Said that's just what we do. I understand they need to make money, but $1044 is excessive for no reason. Needless to say, I wouldn't buy a car from these guys. Owner said this is how we do things. Not with me. Good luck if you get a car from them. More
