I’ve been buying cars and dealing with various dealerships all over the country for more than 40 years. Like many of you, I’ve had wonderful experiences, and not so wonderful ones. However, my e dealerships all over the country for more than 40 years. Like many of you, I’ve had wonderful experiences, and not so wonderful ones. However, my experience with Grand Kia is by far the worst experience I’ve had in my life. The majority of car salespeople that I’ve dealt with were generally personable and made an effort to get to know you and work with you. They cared or at least seemed to care. However, John Lee and his manager, Joe, were far from that. They were, to say the least, your stereotypical car salespeople who I have been very fortunate to avoid all these years. The only concern was making the sale; giving the illusion that they cared, telling you what you wanna hear, making promises that they had no intention of keeping and undervaluing one’s trade-in. My intent is not to bash the profession. As I mentioned earlier, I’ve had wonderful experiences with the majority of car salespeople and dealerships. I only want to comment on my experience with Grand Kia and with specific individuals. Avoid them if at all possible and bring your patronage elsewhere. Kias are wonderful vehicles and a great company. I was just shocked of how dishonest and deceitful Grand Kia and the individuals mentioned were and of their blatant resistance to work out a reasonable deal. More
