Great Experience from a Great Distance! We were looking for a specific Beetle, and Grand Junction had what we were looking for when no one else did. The only issue was that they were 977 mil We were looking for a specific Beetle, and Grand Junction had what we were looking for when no one else did. The only issue was that they were 977 miles away from our home in Iowa (that's right, no one close had what we were looking for). Everything had to be right for us to even consider making that trip. We couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. We were able to negotiate a fair price and the sales staff was very accommodating with our requests for information--all of this took place over email and two friendly phone calls! We took Amtrak to Grand Junction, and we were picked up at the station by our sales person, Megan (thank you!). The facility was tremendous, the staff was very friendly, and the car was ready to be delivered. After the paperwork was completed, the dealership provided us a free night's stay downtown and a delightful meal at a local restaurant. The trip was long, but Megan, Jimmy (the sales manager), and Erin (finance) were absolutely terrific and accommodating even late in the day on Saturday. We even got a change to meet the general manager, Shawn Harrison, who was very attentive and interested in my wife's life-long love and ownership of VW Beetles (1962 and 2004, previously). Absolutely Wonderful! I was out just looking for the day. Before I even got out of the car BJ was walking over and introduced himself. I let him know that I had seen a car I was out just looking for the day. Before I even got out of the car BJ was walking over and introduced himself. I let him know that I had seen a car online that I like and wanted to look at it. It hadn't even been through detailing yet but he let me look at it. When I told him it wasn't what I thought he asked me what I wanted and then spent the next few hours letting me sit in and test drive cars. He was also very patient with the fact that I wanted to check every car on my insurance before I would even consider it, especially considering we were out in 100 degree heat. I found a Subaru that I really liked but it was outside my price range so he found one that was in price range and was exactly what I wanted. I never once felt pressured to test drive, sit in, or even look at a car. I honestly will never go to another dealership because I have never been so happy with the overall experience!! More
