Grand Junction Subaru responded

This is Ron Bubar, Owner of Grand Junction Subaru. Regarding this consumer’s comments, they are all false except one – it is true, the consumer is no longer welcome at our dealership. During our mechanical investigation we provided a loaner vehicle, which the consumer damaged for an amount $650, and provided no restitution. Further the consumer conducted a profanity laced tirade at our facility. The consumer cites our organization “knowingly” sold defective units to the consumer, which is untrue. Our organization operates with the highest integrity, transparency and true intent to provide the best customer service; hence we purchased the consumer’s first vehicle back, which is running perfectly to this day. What is of great disappointment is the consumer’s statement “they DID NOT credit my down payment (a Truck) towards my new lease! I lost out on that money!” To the contrary, the truck’s trade-in value was $11,600; however the consumer owed the bank a total payoff of $12,237, which we paid. Meaning, at a minimum, we discounted our vehicle – there was no equity in the consumer’s trade-in. Regarding the involvement of Subaru of America (SOA), it was our organization that involved SOA to insure we had the consumer’s best interests at the center. At conclusion our organization interviewed the SOA employees assigned to the matter. They explained to the consumer her trade-in value versus the consumer’s bank payoff, and their response was “we think she gets it now.” Subaru of America finalized their investigation for both vehicles no technical issues, absent the battery change out, were found and SOA has closed the file for this consumer.
