To that end we approached Carey Merola at Grand Junction Subaru and explained our needs - safety, reliability, all wheel drive (for Utah and Colorado winters, ski trips, etc), good fuel economy. Carey rightly pointed out that a new element to consider in buying a vehicle is that new technology is now a fairly large concern (back-up camera, internal airbags, traction control, handsfree phone link), and he therefore recommended that we look at new vehicles as well. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that a brand new Subaru CrossTrek was in the same price range as a number of used vehicles we had looked at, and was equipped with the new technology and features we really wanted. We opted to buy the new CrossTrek. The purchasing process was quick and painless, and our daughter drove off with her new Subaru. She is immensely pleased with the vehicle, and we as parents are confident that we made a safe, sound and well-informed decision, thanks to Carey's thoughtful input. There was no pressure to buy the car, but Jason was helpful and answered all of my questions in a friendly and professional manner. Buying from Subaru was a great experience and simple, they walked me through every step and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. Overall, the cost of my new legacy is affordable and I am in love with my new car. Jason even checked up on me a few times after getting my new car to make sure everything was in order! A week after getting my car, I had issues with the tire pressure and called Jason, he told me to stop by and it turns out I had a nail in the tire, but Subaru fixed it fast and efficiently at no cost. My favorite dealership on the Western Slope! If you're gonna buy a new car, ask for Jason at Subaru. :) More

He was always prompt in getting back to me if not available, when I called. Any other issues he quickly took care of. Always friendly with a smile and handshake and very knowledgeable about the Subaru products in which I was interested. He did a great job of educating me about my new purchases and proper maintenance issues. Any other questions were just a phone call away. After the sale communication, from Dave and the dealership have been exceptional. Ongoing auto maintenance has also been EZ and getting your car washed at the same visit......frosting on the cake.
