Because I live in another state ( Oxford, MS) I went to Gossett website and placed a service appointment starting Fri 7/22/2016 for my VW touareg . On Tue 7/19/2016 I received an email telling me that my appointment is confirmed and the confirmation code # X06O7PN116 and the adviser name is Jeff Sarbeck. On Thu 7/21/2016 Gossett send me a Reminder for upcoming service appointment. On Fri /7/22/2016 I took a day off from my work at the university of Mississippi just for this car service appointment, when I meet Jeff at 8Am and talk to him and show him the all information about the appointment he said I’m sorry we cannot do it today we are so busy and told me to leave the car key until next Mon the day they can service my car. I was so upset and angry especially with the people who lies and do not care about their customer. I promise myself not to go back to Gossett again because I cannot trust liars and I’m thinking to get rid from my VW Touareg and never buy any VW vehicle . M.Daghestani More

This service center has lost that moral compass. Not only overcharged us, but replaced things that were not necessary to be "fixed". Here's how the con works: You have an issue that requires a "dealership" to repair. You call up Gossett and they happily tell you "come on in." When you get there they make you feel comfortable and that they care and are "looking out for your best interest". You trust them at this point and believe all will be fine and dandy. Then "the call"..... They address the real problem first, then talk really fast and make you believe that the following "fixes" are one in the same with the original problem. Thus creating a bill that is 8 to 10 times higher than it should have been to fix your original problem. They now have your car ransom and you are made to feel that you "must" do this fix. Now here's where the "moral compass" has been lost: My wife and I are in town visiting my elderly Father for Christmas. We drove here from Colorado. This was the first thing I told this service person at Gossett before he decided to up charge us over $850 for a part that costs $55. Thanks for ruining our trip Gossett. This won't be forgotten and anyone and everyone I speak to will know how you do business. BUYER BEWARE !!!! They will lie and cheat you to their benefit. More
Long wait, little results Took my car in because the steering light had been coming on. Waited four hours and paid a significant amount of money. Was told that the problem had Took my car in because the steering light had been coming on. Waited four hours and paid a significant amount of money. Was told that the problem had been taken care of. Went to drive my car home, and a service tool had been left in the passenger seat of my car... Which was a careless mistake, but I get it, we are all human and make mistakes, so I let that go. Left the dealer to drive home. About five minutes into the drive, the steering light came back on. Turned around immediately to take my car back in. There was no apology or any type of attempt to compensate for money spent and time wasted. Was simply told that they would look at it in the morning and run further tests, but did not seem confident that they would figure out the issue... Very disappointed in the way this was dealt with and will not be coming back to get my car serviced here. More

Lines of broken VWs that the understaffed service department can't keep up with even with an appointment. I can't even get anyone in service to answer a phone call since 7am today. STAY AWAY PLEASE!!!!! After reading all the bad reviews I still decided to purchase a car from gossett what a big mistake. This is the worst car dealership in the whole ent After reading all the bad reviews I still decided to purchase a car from gossett what a big mistake. This is the worst car dealership in the whole entire world. When I first purchased my car I was told my interest rate and the price of the car was one thing then I was asked to come in the next day to sign a few papers that would only take a few minutes. Ok... I was not told what papers... as im signing the the papers I see the interest rate had went up 6 percent and the price of the car now was way higher!!! So I asked the finance guy hey what's this why is everything different I was unaware of this change but even after that I still purchased the car like a fool!! Next day im contacted again saying there is a paper I needed to sign. That's ridiculous they should have made sure all the papers were signed before I pulled off the lot instead of harassing me every 5 minutes later about a freaking problem that was not my fault!!! So after taking the car home I noticed the first day the car was leaking I thought it was water from the a/c.. so I ignored it.A week later the problem got worse.. I had my uncle to come check it out and found out it was actually oil that was all over my driveway. I contacted the dealership and I was told the car was sold as is and they even tried to say the reason it was leaking oil was because I must have punctured the oil pan wtf.. so I took it to another dealership and the found that the problem was my oil vale was left unscrewed. Smh.. never and I mean never purchase from these money hungry unprofessional people. You'll do better buying from a its good auto sale dealership. When passing gossett look the other way im warning you!!!!!!!!!! More
Nice people, horrible value for service I took my car in for basic servicing and ended up being charged close to $600 - for my car that is only 4 years old and has <30,000 miles with no issu I took my car in for basic servicing and ended up being charged close to $600 - for my car that is only 4 years old and has <30,000 miles with no issues! When the service rep quoted me the charges over the phone, I went through each item and he agreed with me that they were erroneously charged, so I authorized the few minor repairs/services recommended. When I showed up to pick up my car, they charged me even MORE than the originally quoted price. I paid them and pledged never to go back. The very next day, another warning light came on my dashboard! Rather than take it back to the Gossett, I ended up driving to North Carolina where a reputable service center correctly diagnosed a minor problem and charged me only $19 for the entire process. At Gossett, they would have charged $150 just for the diagnostics, which does NOT apply toward the actual parts/labor associated with repairs. It was CHEAPER and EASIER for me to drive 12 hours for repair than to return to Gossett only 10 miles away!!! More

I took my car bac were able to tell me what was wrong with it and get quotes worked up on the repairs. I had one of the issues repaired the same day.
