In order to schedule my appointment, I was directed to leave a message on a service representative's voicemail. I had ended up leaving two different voicemails after not being called back, and I had to ca leave a message on a service representative's voicemail. I had ended up leaving two different voicemails after not being called back, and I had to call the dealership an additional four or five times more in order finally get someone who could help me (they kept putting me in the voicemail of the same people after I explained that I would like to speak to someone live). Once my appointment was scheduled, I was told on the phone that my specific issue would take about 30 minutes to resolve. My issue was that my EV charger had failed and I needed a new one. I was also told on the phone that I was covered under my warranty and I will not have to pay anything. When I got to gosh Ford today I was told that they would need my car the entire day and when I told them that I was told it would only take 30 minutes on the phone, their response was that I shouldn't have been told that. No apology or any kind of accommodation to try and get my car finished sooner because I was given misinformation. The car was ready to go an hour and a half later, and I was told that I was being charged $100 because my warranty did not cover it only the extended warranty covered roughly 400 out of the $500 charge . It was annoyingly inconvenient to have to buy an Uber back to my house and then back to the dealership. I had not planned on the car sitting in the dealership all day. Money wasted. I also didn't appreciate feeling like I was being nickel and dimed for the additional charge when I was also told that it was fully covered. Well this wasn't a major issue, the misinformation in the inconvenience was enough to convince me to not come back to gosh Ford for my next vehicle. EDIT: Gosch Ford offered to refund me for the inconvenience and miscommunication, and they did right by making sure their customers are satisfied. More
