Gorges Volvo Cars has been recognized as the preferred Volvo dealer serving our region since 1957. Back then our founder Fred Gorges and his 2 brothers first formed a relationship with Volvo in Wichita Kansas, where the Gorges brothers operated a successful import business. When they were approached by Volvo to start selling cars in the United States, Gorges Volvo Cars was born.
After some time in Kansas, Gorges Volvo Cars eventually relocated to Omaha where we've continued our successful business for 30 years. We attribute the success of our new and used Volvo dealership over the last three decades of serving Omaha, Lincoln NE, Fremont NE, Sioux City and Council Bluffs IA, to the fact that we are 100% dedicated to maintaining our strong family values and extending those values to our customers. Cory does an amazing job, when he is working with you he totally commented to making sure my needs about my 1994 Volvo 850 are totally cared for. Tony is the Master Tech who has always looked after my car and I trust him totally. He has been serving my 850 for over 20 plus years. My car currently has 208,000 miles and Tony maintaining my car is a big reason why. My hat comes off to both Cory and Tony for their professionalism and ensuring. I can’t say enough good things about Gorges Volvo. No games here. Everyone I worked with was honest, knowledgeable and very helpful. Couldn’t be happier with our CPO XC90. After having a not so great experience with my local Volvo dealership, I contacted Gorges about an XC90 they had for sale. Haley Frost and Chad Christensen were both wonderful to work with. They were very upfront about pricing and warranty information. I had all the numbers in advance. There were no surprises once I got to the dealership. I made a deposit to hold the vehicle and bought a plane ticket from Memphis, TN to Omaha. Dustin Gathje met me at the airport with the vehicle I was purchasing. This was such a nice and thoughtful touch. I had a 10 hour drive ahead of me. It was great to test drive the vehicle on the way to the dealership. Dustin was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He answered all of my questions with ease. And did a great job explaining the safety features - lane assist, blind spot monitoring, etc. Paperwork at the dealership took less than an hour and I was on my way home. As crazy as it may sound I won’t be surprised if I become a repeat Gorges customer. The long drive is totally worth it! More
