Gorges Volvo Cars has been recognized as the preferred Volvo dealer serving our region since 1957. Back then our founder Fred Gorges and his 2 brothers first formed a relationship with Volvo in Wichita Kansas, where the Gorges brothers operated a successful import business. When they were approached by Volvo to start selling cars in the United States, Gorges Volvo Cars was born.
After some time in Kansas, Gorges Volvo Cars eventually relocated to Omaha where we've continued our successful business for 30 years. We attribute the success of our new and used Volvo dealership over the last three decades of serving Omaha, Lincoln NE, Fremont NE, Sioux City and Council Bluffs IA, to the fact that we are 100% dedicated to maintaining our strong family values and extending those values to our customers. Car Salesmen Can Be Good People! As the stereotype goes, car salesmen are not known for their character and integrity, but the people at Gorges Volvo do not fit that mold! Charles was As the stereotype goes, car salesmen are not known for their character and integrity, but the people at Gorges Volvo do not fit that mold! Charles was fantastic, very kind, very knowledgeable, never pushy or trying to sell us a car he didn’t think we should buy. He was with us for quite awhile (3 or 4 hours) and led us to the Volvo S60 we eventually purchased. I would highly recommend working with him, and would consider buying another car from him even though we do not live in Nebraska. More

Go See Heidi I was in the market for a new vehicle and started where most people do, looking on the internet. I stumbled upon Gorge's and they had what I was looki I was in the market for a new vehicle and started where most people do, looking on the internet. I stumbled upon Gorge's and they had what I was looking for. I talked to Heidi online briefly before going into the dealership to see the vehicle. From our first interaction I felt at ease. She knew I was there to see a specific vehicle and brought me the keys straight away so that I could test drive it. It was so refreshing because the last few experiences I've had looking at cars the salesman or saleswoman would try to show me a vehicle that I wasn't interested in and that was over my budget. So being able to just walk in and test drive what I came there to look at right away was very appreciated. And even better, she let me take the vehicle alone. No awkward driving while someone blabs in your ear on why you need that vehicle. I was able to test drive the vehicle and make my decision without input from someone I had just met. Heidi made the whole process pleasant and I was in and out in probably about an hour and a half, if that. If you are looking at getting a new car go to Gorge's, and if you go there ask for Heidi. You won't be disappointed. More

Mike was so knowlegible ab We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Gorges Volvo! The sales staff was excellent, Mike Percival was outstanding! Mike was so knowlegible about the functions of the vehicle and took a lot of time to walk us through everything and made sure we knew every possible function of the car and really went the extra step to make sure we were comfortable with our purchase. We really appreciate the time he took! The financing was done in a matter of minutes and they were very friendly and not pushy at all! I would highly recommend any of my friends and family to go to Gorges Volvo we had an excellent car shopping experience!!! More

When it came time to set-up the on call and go over features, our salesman spent the time to answer ALL of my questions and explained the tech in a way I could easily duplicate when it was my turn to use it on my own.
