Absolutely Amazing Collision Center Our experience was with the Collision Center after we collided with a deer on Route 84 East in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The damage to our Volvo XC- Our experience was with the Collision Center after we collided with a deer on Route 84 East in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The damage to our Volvo XC-60 was substantial. From the first phone call with Dan on the day after the accident, the body shop was prompt and responsive, the service was superb, and the finished repair is outstanding. For instance, they immediately arranged to have our car towed from Sturbridge back to Brunswick, Maine (about a 6-7 hour round trip). The car arrived in the evening, and Dan called me early the next morning to meet with him before the insurance adjuster arrived. He took the time to point out the obvious necessary repairs. Moments later, he met with the insurance adjuster to itemize every part or repair required, and they agreed on a 5-page detailed listing and total price the same day. I was then told that the repair would be completed in 12 days, which included the Thanksgiving weekend. We also had 2 snow storms in between, and I figured that our car would be done about 4-5 days later than anticipated. Much to my surprise, I received a call from Sandi, the day before the car was promised -- and on the Monday after Thanksgiving -- that the car would be ready for pickup the next morning. My wife and I were frankly stunned. The work is spectacular. The car looks new. The shop even took the time to blend some minor scrapes on the back of the car that I had told them were not a result of the accident. In addition, they cleaned the engine and detailed the inside of the vehicle. The Volvo that was returned to us is really in even better condition then the car before the accident. As you can probably tell by now, we would recommend the Goodwin Collision Center to anyone that needs body work on a vehicle. The quality of their work and service is among the very top that I have ever received in any context. More

They are prompt, courteous, and I've never had the impression that they were "running up the bill." I had a 2014 Traverse, and traded it for a 2018 Traverse-- a totally perfect vehicle for me. I was treated courteously and as a valued customer. I recommend them, and when I'm ready for a new Traverse, I'm sure I'll buy it from them. I'm not a fan of the outside team they bring in to run their sales events-- I want to deal with their employees, and Doug made that happen. More
Dishonest service department. We dropped off our Impala to have the rear defroster repaired under warranty. They called to tell us we needed new tires. Goodwins in retaliation for us declining to be ripped off.....cut our good inspection sticker in half. This all took place a week before Christmas.....Merry Christmas , from the low class service department , at Goodwins Chevrolet. More

I returned the following morning for the repair (part required was in Portland which would have added another hour of time missed from work) and I was able to get in the service garage at 7:30 and I was out by 8:15 am. The service cost was not outrageous - I'll take it. More
Unprofessional While the service was happening, my wife was swarmed by salesmen like vultures on a fresh corps. The repair ended up costing $125 and somehow we ended up leaving with a new car. Everything was fine until the next day when I was contacted by the sales manager saying we owe them more money. During the sales process, I should have known that a deal offer written on computer paper with a sharpie wasn’t exactly legitamit. The price for the trade on the paper vs the actual paperwork was $1,000 less and we didn’t notice until the next day examining the paperwork closer to try and solve the down payment amount discrepancy. Apparently Goodwin’s hires an outside sales team to do this “event” and it’s almost as if they were just a bunch of cowboys that did anything to make a sale and let the pieces fall where they may after. We are very happy with our car so far but this part of the LEGAL transaction will keep us from EVER buying at Goodwin’s again! More
