EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! As a single woman, the thing that intimidates me the very most is dealing with my car. Imagine my surprise when I drove up for my appointment and this young whisp of a woman walk that intimidates me the very most is dealing with my car. Imagine my surprise when I drove up for my appointment and this young whisp of a woman walked out to greet me. Her name is Megan Paris. She immediately started talking about engine mounts, carburators, drive trains, u-joints . . . all sorts of words that normally scare the heck out of me! She was so knowledgable and she listened to me fumble through my list of what I thought was wrong with my car. SHE LISTENED - and I trusted her immediately! She explained things to me - she demonstrated how things should work - and went toe-to-toe with my extended warranty provider (not Acura) to make sure I was getting as much coverage as possible. She kept me informed every step of the way, always stuck to her time commitments, and made sure I was completely satisfied before she let me drive off the lot. I recommend Megan Paris at Goodson to anyone, man or woman, who wants to know that their vehicle is being well cared for and that they, the customer, are truly the first priority. Not only will I go there with any service concerns, but because of Megan's thoroughness and professionalism, when the time comes, I will DEFINITELY go there to purchase a new Acura. Since I am a long term customer of Goodson Acura I will write this review. I would however prefer to just go into the manager's office express my likes and/or dislikes in person looking the "boss" straight write this review. This review is with focus on the person that is always available whenever I do need attention. Bobby Srianant is the kind of person you want as a "first impression person" for any company really. He is a very professional person mixed with a warm personality that makes anyone feel at ease. His patience is outstanding and somehow it does not matter wether I drive in in the morning or late afternoon, Bobby is still the same kind person with an open ear for my special needs I always seem to have. His detailed knowledge of cars is impressive and astounds me often. A number of years go I expressed my admiration about this young man to the manager and by now I would like to emphasize it even more. He makes sure that my car is taken care of and ready when I want it. The service itself has always been very good and I do not recall a single argument about what was done and what I think should have been done to my car. I took my car to the dealer for a timing belt, drive belt and water pump replacement in addition to having the oil change and a humming noise from the radio diagnosed. I had received a call from the Servi and water pump replacement in addition to having the oil change and a humming noise from the radio diagnosed. I had received a call from the Service Dept stating they were unable to diagnose the radio noise as it was not apparent when the Service Tech turned the radio on. However, they had promised to continue to search for cause of the humming noise, i.e amplifier. Upon picking up my car, i noted the following: - Front of car not washed, nor was one wheel - Coolant not filled, even though i paid for it as part of my service - Washer fluid not filled - Air pressure not checked and adjusted - Multipoint inspection checklist not provided - Maintenance logged not stamped - It was recommended that my front brake pads replaced, however, it took 3 days for Acura to call me back and let me know when i had last changed my pads. When i received a call from Acura asking how my service was, I had informed them of the items noted above and the lady had stated she would follow up with the Service Tech and call me back, she didnt call back. I called her 3 days later and she passed me to the Service Manager. Once again, i informed them of my experience and he really didnt seem to care at all. He had stated that they would note this down and make sure this didnt happen again. I have using Goodson Acura since 2008 and I expected much better. Luckily, David McDavid and several other dealers are in the Dallas area and i have heard better things about them. If you do happen to take your car to Goodson, make sure and check the basic things before you leave, chances are they didn't top off the fluids, check the air pressure, wash ALL the car, etc. More
