Typical sleazy shameless dealership. My 83 year old mother went in to Goode because there was an ad in the paper to come on in and draw for a great prize. Then they proceeded to sell her a used car for a new-car price, took in her low mileage used car, didn't give her enough for that, then help her get a big fat loan, at 83. Shameless. I can't tell you how disgusted I am. Hey, Goode, if a little old lady comes in to get a prize, it's not a good idea to do your sleazy tactics to sell her a car. Now her confidence is ruined and she's feeling horrible about the amount of money she's spent. More
We just purchased a truck this week from salesman Jordan Ruiz, and we were pretty much overwhelmed by his courtesy, patience (with us), truthfulness, and customer service. I recently purchased a vehicle from another dealer that needed a couple things handled by Goode Ford. Goode stated they couldn’t get the truck in for 4 days. Understandable, considering they’re a full Ford needed a couple things handled by Goode Ford. Goode stated they couldn’t get the truck in for 4 days. Understandable, considering they’re a full Ford dealer with other vehicles to take care of. After waiting the 4 days the dealer I purchased my vehicle from took my vehicle to them. First off, it took Goode service dept around 25 days before it was even pulled into their shop. It has now been with Goode for over a month! Each week, at the prodding of the service manager at my dealer, Goode would give an eta on when it’ll be finished and ready for my dealer to pick up. And each week those days come and pass and we’re told a new day for the following week. Today, Tuesday December 20th, my dealer’s service manager and I were told it would be ready to go - which was stated by Goode’s service dept last Friday (I’m not sure who made that determination since Nate, the service manager, wouldn’t return phone calls). And even though today isn’t over I’m again hearing that Nate, the service manager at Goode, won’t return a phone call to my dealer’s service manager regarding when the vehicle will be done.(Edit: my vehicle’s return is once again delayed) This has been a reoccurring issue with Nate, Goode’s service manager, in not responding to the service team at my dealer. My advice to anyone considering having Goode Ford in Burley, Idaho do any service work that they be prepared for a ridiculously long wait and very poor communication to boot. Edit number 2: Initially, this week, I was told that my vehicle would be ready on Tuesday the 20th - that was not the case as Josh/Nate from Goode’s service dept said it would now be Wednesday no later than 5pm - this has also not been the case since I just got off of the phone with the service manager from my dealer who was just was notified by Nate/Josh that they now won’t have it done until tomorrow — sometime. This service department is an absolute joke. They obviously fabricate the dates of when vehicles are going to be completed just to string customers along - however, what’s more par for their course is simply refusing to return phone calls. Avoid this place if at all possible. I’ve dealt with numerous dealerships and/or their service departments and I can say without any doubt that Goode Ford in Burley, Idaho is the most unprofessional, misleading, & unorganized service department I’ve ever dealt with in the 48 years of buying vehicles.
