I had just gotten off the plane relocating back to NJ from Las Vegas.I decide to go and look for a car because I need transportation. I stopped in Good Wheels. Tommy Modesto was my salesman. The car I was looking at had e a bit of an odor, which hurt my lungs. The salesman told me the cabin filter had been changed. I asked to see the service records-- it had not been changed, it is a very ch hurt my lungs. The salesman told me the cabin filter had been changed. When I told the salesman I was looking at other cars he asked me what did I need from them, for me to want to buy the car. I told him change the cabin filter and I showed him the Kelley Blue book price range and suggested he come within that price range, plus one other thing, I forget what it is. He sent out -- I believe --the owner, who said that there is no way they would even come to that price and also would not address anything else that I mentioned. The salesman, Stanley, then implied that I was wasting their time and I should have just said what I would be willing to pay from the beginning. I guess they expect us to throw a number at them before we even know if we like the car which seems ridiculous to me. The salesman also claimed that they have a three month/3000 warranty on the car that goes beyond the powertrain. When I showed him the paper that said it was just the powertrain he said oh no it's on everything, but they won't give it to you in writing. He did the usual why "don't you trust us" business. THEY EXPECT YOU TO BELIEVE THERE IS A WARRANTY THAT THEY REFUSE TO GIVE YOU YOU IN WRITING.I told him, partly why I don't is that the owner or whoever came out of the office to talk to me, would not address my concerns and seemed slimy. I walked out and the guy came out into the parking to tell me off. More
The Staff at Good Wheels were friendly and helpful. The vehicle was clean, neat and as advertised. We took a test ride and bought the vehicle that day.
