SCAM SCAM SCAM My husband and I went into this place on Friday and walked out the same day "financing" a truck. When we left both the gentleman told us that he was approved by the bank, we signed a contract, gave them the down payment and all was "good". We went and spent over a grand to put new tires and rims on it out of pocket. Then on Monday we get a call saying that the loan was not approved and that we need to return the truck or they would report it stolen. It soon became clear that they did not reach out to any bank until Monday morning to get the loan approved. When we called to work something out they told us they called ONE bank and the Manager started to yell at me in a very unprofessional way. They were extremely rude, disrespectful, and continue to make very untrue accusations. They also told us to figure it out and basically do there job by finding a different bank to finance if we wish to keep the truck. They also refuse to offer any sort of compensation for the BRAND NEW rims and tires that are now on it (which in retrospect, now they can resell it for more due to this). It is lazy and awful service. We spoke to a different and way more professional used/new car sales broker and we let him know of the situation, he said that this happens all the time from small local used car dealerships, and that most likely the plan that the employees of "Good Guys Auto" had was to let us drive off the lot with a car and let us fall in love with it hoping we would come back after this and pay a huge lump sum of money to keep the truck. It was also brought to light that ALL their vehicles are bought from auctions that bigger dealerships LEGALLY cannot buy and resell. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND DO NOT GET SCAMMED LIKE US!!! More
