New AXLE fell out of Saturn after Good Chev Renton installe Our Saturn 2008 had a rubbing sound from front left when making a left turn. Renton service department recommended replacing front left axle, $800.00 Our Saturn 2008 had a rubbing sound from front left when making a left turn. Renton service department recommended replacing front left axle, $800.00. This was April 2015, 311 miles later while wife going to work on 405 to take I5 Southbound, left axle pulled out of transmission while doing 45 mph, she pulled onto the shoulder, rpm red-lined, car rolled forward in park position. After tow back, we were advised that the retaining ring that holds in the axle was not installed correctly. I asked them to check the transmission which they declined. Two days later car not driving right, took back, now advised that we need new transmission and GM will pay 40%, we were out $3,000. Repaired, still not correct, took back and on their own without contacting us first, removed and replaced the radiator for another $1,000. Discussed with Service Manager Bob Manning, he did nothing. Wrote a letter to GM Corporate, still no action or concern on their part. Finally writing this as we feel this has not had any accountability by the Dealer. More

I went in to purchase a blank chipped key and to get the key cut, their machine screwed up on 5 keys trying to cut it for my truck, so now I have a blank key I have to go to a locksmith to have cut because key cut, their machine screwed up on 5 keys trying to cut it for my truck, so now I have a blank key I have to go to a locksmith to have cut because their machine couldn't do it. I had an extra FOB (keyless remote) that needed to be programmed to the truck and also have the new transmitted key programmed to the truck. Being told it would cost $57 to program the key and $115 to program the remote, I asked if they could do it for free since I am purchasing the key there (I'm not dumb, I know it isn't rocket science). So they decided on 30 minutes of serive for the key, 30 minutes of service for the FOB. Although I purchased my truck from Chevrolet of Puyallup (go to Puyallup, not to Good Chevrolet, its worth the drive and they will match Good's prices anyways) I work in Renton and figured I would support the local dealership. NEVER AGAIN. The ONLY good thing that came out was the parts guy told me how to program the key after I told him service was going to charge me $57, lone behold it only takes 10 seconds. I googled "how to program FOB for 2010 Silverado", in 10 seconds I came up with good information on the internet, programmed the remote MYSELF, and the remote works. I feel lied to and wasn't helped what so ever. The BS of "well it'll take a technician to program that remote" and my rebuttal of "oh, I know its a matter of a sequence of buttons, so maybe tell me how to do it?" and their answer of "its not that simple" irritates me. Lastly, I originally went into Good Chevrolet to look at trucks, again lied to by them telling me another guy was going to buy the truck unless I said I would sign papers to lock up the deal, and I wouldn't find a lower price on the same truck anywhere else.. guess what the truck is still sitting at the lot, and I found the same truck, in the color I wanted, somewhere else for $2000 less. Thanks Good Chevrolet for saving my time and never coming to you guys again. More
I have been so happy with the service and integrity of the staff at Good Chevrolet that I have sent several friends and family members there. All have thanked me. I have experienced many bad service shops the staff at Good Chevrolet that I have sent several friends and family members there. All have thanked me. I have experienced many bad service shops in my past, and have been taken advatange of. I am so thankful to find a shop that I can bring my Suburban to, knowing I will not be over charged or given quotes for work that I dont need. I received a call that is almost unheard of in this industry! "Good news! It was a simple fix!"....not the major problem I told them I thought I had. The staff seemed HAPPY for me and excited to share the good news that I was saving money! I drive 30 miles to bring my car to Good Chevrolet, because I trust them. When I am in the market for a new vehicle, this will be where I purchase it! More
I recently purchased a 2010 Cobalt for Karl Harrison. He was terrific. When I call him, he returns my call right away. He understands that not everyone has a work schedule that is 9 to 5. I had a problem w was terrific. When I call him, he returns my call right away. He understands that not everyone has a work schedule that is 9 to 5. I had a problem with a tire that lost presure. I called Karl about the situation as I have to travel quite some distance to my work and I did not want to be stranded out on a highway late at night. Karl told me to bring the car in. So today I brought the car in and he replaced the tire with a new one. That's called 'TAKING CARE OF THE CUSTOMER'. Karl is great, and so is Natasha in the Service Dept. Very friendly and professional. She made me feel as if they really care about their customer's....Karl treated my husband and I as if we were family. Old fashion values......that's what sets this dealership apart from others. If you need a car, go see Karl! I sure am glad we did. More
I will never bring a car in for repair to Good Chevrolet again Pontiac Grand Am 1999 3.4 Brought car in on 3/16/2010 engine light was on code read P0301 CYLYNDER 1 MISFIRE Natasha Wilson service again Pontiac Grand Am 1999 3.4 Brought car in on 3/16/2010 engine light was on code read P0301 CYLYNDER 1 MISFIRE Natasha Wilson service advisor called me next day said the intake manifold was leaking coolant needed new wires plugs and 3 coils total price w/tax $1749.46 I picked up the car completed on Friday the 19th The service engine light came on over the weekend and was running rough at an Idle with the same signs as when we first brought it in for service . I brought the car back to the dealer on Monday the 22nd and told Natasha I was not happy she said they would take a look at it and get back to me . She called me later that evening and said sometimes when they fix one thing something else can go wrong . She said the upper Manifold Gasket was replaced and it looked like the lower manifold gasket went bad . She said they would no more the next morning and would call me then . I told her why didn’t they replace the lower gasket when they were in there the first time and I didn’t want to pay for the labor to have it striped down a second time . I told her I was aware that there had been a class action suit against GM for the Dex coolant eating away the gaskets and they should have been aware of that and replaced both upper and lower gaskets . Natasha called me the next day Tues the 23rd she said I had a cracked cylinder head and it needed to be sent out to have milled . The cost would be $2,371.00 dollars . She said they would credit me the $823.46 because they should have caught it at the beginning .When I questioned her on the manifold gaskets she changed her story and said she had made a mistake and both gaskets had been replaced . I checked with two other Pontiac dealers and both said when replacing the manifold gaskets both should be replaced . Weds the 24th Natasha called to inform me she had sat down with the service manager and went over the invoice and they decided to repair the car at no additional charge .The car will be done possibly Friday or Monday and that she would keep me informed . Friday the 26th Natasha called me to tell me they went over the car and the cylinder head gasket needed to be replaced the car would be done by Monday . There was no mention of the cylinder head being cracked and needing to be sent out as I was told back on the 23rd . Monday the 29th Natasha called to tell me the car was ready for pick up . Went down and picked up the car . I went over the invoice there was no mention of the cracked cylinder head when I asked she said it was fine and only the head gasket was bad . My experience with Good Chevrolet at best was terrible .I got my car back and have no idea if what they said they repaired actually was ever done . I felt when it came to the car they were deceptive and out to charge me as much as they could get away with . Had I not spoken up I can only wonder what my final bill would have been . Before leaving I spoke with Kelly McNEIL Managing Director of Good Chevrolet and left him a copy of my complaint he said he would look into it and get back to me on Tues . Tuesday the 30th I received a call from Bob Manning Good Chevrolet he said he read my complaint and put the blame on Natasha Wilson and because of the way she handled things is the reason they decided to not charge me for the repairs the second time . I asked him what his title was and he said he is the Fix it Director .Could this get anymore rediculous are you kidding me a FIX IT DIRECTOR ! As for Mr. Kelly McNEIL Managing Director he never called me back . More
They put on a big smile and tell you what they want to hear. But they don't follow up. I brought my pickup into have drivers side door hinge pins replaced and the outside bezel replaced. They replaced hear. But they don't follow up. I brought my pickup into have drivers side door hinge pins replaced and the outside bezel replaced. They replaced the hinge pins but didn't do the outside bezel. Made another appointment lined up a ride and took it back for the bezel. During this time the power steering went out and when I brought it in I asked if they could also fix the power steering. While waiting for my ride I remembered that I need a new cable for the tail gate and headed for the parts counter. The custormer service agent that checked me in asked if he could help and I explained that I was going to get a cabel for the tail gait and he would take care of it. When I came back to pick up my truck there is a $18.00 charge to install the $8.00 cable it goes on with one screw. There was also a $52.00 charge to tell me that my power steering was bad and needed to be replaced. They said they couldn't do anything about the diagnosis for the power steering except take it off the charge when I had it repaired. They did say they would refund the labor charge for the cabel installation but after contacting them 2 times because it hasn't happened I gave up on this place and will not be back and won't hesitate to tell people what kind of place this is and that they should avoid it and find some place else that wants you to come back as a satisfied customer.
