Can't Even Change Oil Correctly Purchased a 1 year old used vehicle (with 30,000 miles). Was told an oil change and multi-point inspection had been done several times before purchas Purchased a 1 year old used vehicle (with 30,000 miles). Was told an oil change and multi-point inspection had been done several times before purchase vehicle by salesman (and again by service department) . 1 week after purchase, oil life warning came on and I noticed that the recommended oil change date was already 1 month passed according to window sticker. Decided to also check the air filter before taking in the vehicle and noticed that it was beyond filthy (and that is an understatement). They obviously lied about both the inspection and oil change. Either that, or they decided that spending the $10 to replace the air filter was too much on a $30,000 vehicle. When confronted, they tried telling me that the air filter could have gotten that dirty by sitting on the lot after they did their inspection. At this point, they were just insulting my intelligence. They agreed to do an oil change, free of charge, and I had already changed the air filter myself. Less than a week later, the oil pressure warning light came on while driving on the interstate. Looking closer, the undercarriage of the vehicle was soaked in oil. The service department apparently forgot how to put an oil filter on and all of the oil was practically all gone. More

We were kind of worried after reading the multitude of negative feedback reviews; however, it really boils down to the integrity of the salesperson. Best Ford dealership in Chicagoland! After unsuccessfully visiting a number of other Ford dealerships in the area, we headed over to Golf Mill Ford to see what they had to offer. Our sales person, Steve Bernard was excellent. He knew his product and was attentive to our needs, without being pushy. Golf Mill Ford did not have the specific model with the features we were looking for, but they were able to locate on at a different dealership and had it transferred for us. A couple days later, we got the call that it was in. We took it for a test drive and loved it. The rest of the buying process was a breeze, and we drove away happily in our new car. Steve has since called to check up on us to ensure we still liked our new car. When the time comes to buy a new car, we'll make sure we check out Golf Mill Ford first. More

I really didn't need the expense of a new car but Ray broke it down and ensured we were satisfied. After looking at my new car the next day when it was light out I noticed some scuffs on the bumper. I called Ray and without hesitation they took car of it and reprinted it. They even went so far as to completely clean my car before I picked it up. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with my new car and would recommend golf mill ford to anyone looking to get a new car with great customer service. More
