Expectations not met I will say that I did purchase the car despite my negative experience with the dealership. If not for the Mercedes I was looking at being in such perf I will say that I did purchase the car despite my negative experience with the dealership. If not for the Mercedes I was looking at being in such perfect condition I would have walked. The salesman was Mark Newman and it was an overall rushed experience where he would come to me and my dad ask for some information and then disappear for 10 minutes. When we asked him how much longer he’d keep assuring us that it’d only be a few more minutes. We asked him repeatedly to look for the keys and it took him until after we signed the papers to go and “look” for the keys. Which he did not find so currently I do not have a spare. I was promised a full tank of gas ready when I leave, it was under an 1/8 of a tank for my 50 mile drive home. Also the check engine light we discussed the day before was never diagnosed. What he said would take 45 - 60 minutes in and out, ended up taking a total of 5 hours. And that’s after being there the day before for several hours too. We didn’t talk anything about finance and ended up waiting for someone to be available. We waited for just short of an hour and each time we’d ask him he’d keep repeating “5 more minutes”. Nino in finance was rather comforting as my dad and I were rather frustrated at this point. He did good in explaining everything and was much more efficient in his job. Although he was good it comes back to the salesman who did a very poor job accommodating to us. It was my fault because of the car being so low miles and in good condition and I let my guard down. Any other car he would not have gotten away with as nearly as much as he did. More
