When I dropped my car off everything was clean and fine inside and out. Then when I go to pick it up after they did the recall repair. I get back in it to find that my cup holder on my e90 3 series is brok inside and out. Then when I go to pick it up after they did the recall repair. I get back in it to find that my cup holder on my e90 3 series is broken. The sun roof was in anti-trap, and the cover was missing for the obd plug. After I told them they never said sorry. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY ACT LIKE THEY ARE WORKING ON KIA'S NOT A LUXURY AUTOMOBILE. The ONly thing that is nice is their service center and that just because they make so much profit every time you stop by to get work done. GO EVERYWHERE BUT GLOBAL IMPORTS IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR CAR BACK THE WAY YOU DROPPED IT OFF. More
Horrible Dealership. Once you buy the car, say farewell to any courtesy. They sold me a CPO with a false autocheck report. I believed the report they gave me, and bought the car. A month later i had anothe to any courtesy. They sold me a CPO with a false autocheck report. I believed the report they gave me, and bought the car. A month later i had another dealer run the report for me, and turns out the car was in an accident 2 weeks before they sold it to me. Oops, looks like they failed to mention that. I called multiple times to the dealership, and emailed. The one time i get a response, they act like an accident is nothing. I finally got a manager named "Link" on the phone. I told him it depreciates the value of the car, and his response was "no it doesn't, I've sold hundreds of car. The value doesn't depreciate." Really Link? Having an accident doesn't depreciate the value of the car? When I asked him why they didn't tell me, he said "it was not on the Autocheck and as long as we have the car in good condition and fix any problems, we are not obligated to tell you anything" Yeah, I guess if you print the report before Autocheck knows about it, Its ok. Yeah, that bad. This is what this dealership does. You would think a professional BMW dealership would sell a 2009 CPO car in good faith, but nope. Never trust this dealer. Never trust Global Imports. Since this is a Sonic automotive dealership, and they allow something like this to happen, I guess you should never trust a Sonic Automotive Dealership. Completely Rediculous. Going to contact BMW USA to let them know about this kind of scam and there "reputable dealer" More
In the last year, i have purchased 3 high line cars from Global Imports, one from inventory and two others were special order. I have received no less than top quality service from the Global Imports team. Global Imports, one from inventory and two others were special order. I have received no less than top quality service from the Global Imports team. Link G. and Kirt R. are the finest sales and finest mangers i have met, no dirty sales tricks from that team. Its why i will continue going back to Global for my auto purchases. Top quality sales and service that i recommend to my close friends and family. More
I worked with Sean Reid and Link Gotcher. Dishonest I worked with Sean Reid and Link Gotcher. Dishonest and rude service...would not recommend Global Imports.... NEVER BUY a BMW ON-LINE from Global I worked with Sean Reid and Link Gotcher. Dishonest and rude service...would not recommend Global Imports.... NEVER BUY a BMW ON-LINE from Global DIRTY BMW imports! Before papers were signed; great service. After papers signed...see below: The car was delivered with only a 1/4 tank of gas and dirty! Told to get the BMW M6 detailed; and filled with gas. Only paid for the Gas... I went to the best detail shop in town for one of the best cars on the road a BMW M6... only paid for half the detailing. Refused to pay I ended up losing a lot of money due to the bad condition of an expensive BMW M6! Link Gotcher and Sean Reid ripped me off...Run from Global Imports BMW...FAST. Yet, they were too lazy or didn't want to detail the BMW themselves, and when I did detail M6 as agreed, refused too pay for it. Link Gotcher and Sean Reid ripped me off...Run from Global Imports BMW...FAST. You can buy GREAT cars on-line, but not from Global Imports, took advantage of the fact I live in another state and deliberately sent a dirty BMW M6 to me. I acted in complete good faith and trust and was taken complete advantage of. BMW's look great on-line, but when delivered to your house; another story...See the professional detail shop owner's comments below: When Mr. Martin requested our service, he stated that the car in questioned was never detailed at the time of delivery. At that time he told us that he expected his M6 to look in as new condition as possible. This request is common by customers purchasing high end vehicles such as this BMW M6. He requested that we do what should have been done at the time of delivery. That was: complete detail to vehicle remove all minor scratches remove all acid rain marks in clear coat including carbon fiber roof. If the request was to detail the vehicle as a standard detail package the cost would have been $189.95. However, the added cost was to cover the removal of excessive surface scratches and acid rain damage. The use of Zymol products on this vehicle has nothing to do with the added cost. We use Zymol on all high end vehicle because the type of paint and clear coat that BMW uses warrants the use of Zymol detailing products. We have been in business for 20 years and have been used by area dealers to improve the look of vehicles at the time of delivery time and time again. It is my opinion that Mr. Martin request is valid and his concerns should of and could of been addressed at the time of delivery. Link Gotcher and Sean Reid ripped me off...Run from Global Imports BMW...FAST. More
I purchased a new BMW 328i here. This car had a couple of defects since day 1. HOWEVER, the service center refused to fix the problems. They just keep saying that there is no problems and the car is operatei defects since day 1. HOWEVER, the service center refused to fix the problems. They just keep saying that there is no problems and the car is operateing normal. They don't want to admit the problems I have. I brought this car to other BMW service center. They recognized the problem and tried to fix it. This is totally difference attitude! They are totally not your side. They don't care cars after selling. I wasted my time and money there. So disappointed and frustrated. More
Well as an educated female professional you try to stay clear of calling a business shady or a rip off. I brought my pristine 2011 BMW 535i in for an inspection at Global Imports BMW. They originally cha clear of calling a business shady or a rip off. I brought my pristine 2011 BMW 535i in for an inspection at Global Imports BMW. They originally charged me for recommended alignments and tire balancing to fix problems that didn’t seem to be only finding new problems. Their results...Front two tires half worn...interesting..the front left tire was just replaced..Lie or oversight?? A passenger right front suspension bent as well as the rim prohibiting them from aligning and balancing the tires. This news was very alarming and most importantly did not add up to the vehicles history. I spoke with the shop foreman only to be told the same thing. I asked if the bent suspension could be a warranty issue he said no implying I bent the suspension and rim. I left messages for the Svc. Mgr. and General Mgr. to discuss this. Of course, no return call. I sent a letter into BMW of North America customer relations. In the meantime, my brake sensor light came on. Well clearly at this point not going back to Global went to another BMW service department. I explained the situation. They did their inspection and found bent rims, 3 scratched rims, tires switched, the brake sensor completely damaged and NO suspension damage. Interesting! I called BMW of North America customer relations stating the facts. The agent states we have to back our dealerships. I replied, your service technicians are all trained the same correct? Why are both of your dealerships coming up with different results? Of course, no response. Whats the point of customer relations if you don‘t remain neutral to solve the disagreement? In conclusion, I cannot tell you what happened to the vehicle in Global Imports care. I have a bill for $3179.55 to fix issues on a PRISTINE 2011 BMW. One thing I can say is I work very hard to have nice things and work very hard to take care of those nice things. Some how these damages appeared. I am not going to play the female card of not understanding car mechanics. I do understand how this vehicle has been driven as well as its history. Was it Global BMW’s service technicians negligence they were trying to cover up, or maybe they are not qualified to properly service BMW vehicles, or just maybe the famous BMW ghost made a special appearance to my vehicle tearing it up? Either way I will never know. I guess it boils down to a he said she said as I was clearly informed. Congratulations Global Imports BMW you got me!!! More
First off, let me state this was an Internet purchase, with car shipped, so I have never set foot in the dealer, and since I live 1000 miles away, it will not be serviced there. Bought a used MINI clu with car shipped, so I have never set foot in the dealer, and since I live 1000 miles away, it will not be serviced there. Bought a used MINI clubman, all my sales dealings were with Rob. He was excellent in all respects, including contact, detailed description of car, providing additional photos, etc. Was very happy with the service provided, he even assisted as the contact person for shipping...first time I had ever bought car like this, and he made it pretty painless. In sum, I feel Rob did an excellent job, not sure I would have bought the car sight unseen without the additional assistance from him. Would definitely recommend him as a sales person. Car was shipped, arrived in 2 days exactly as described.....only issue was my home state (MA) has somewhat different paperwork requirements from most other states....special mention goes to Tess at Global Mini for getting the required docs overnited to me. Made me feel like everyone at global was doing what they could to make this go well. And by the way, have now had the car (2011 mini clubman jcw) for couple of days....rob was right, this thing is a BLAST to drive....go get one! More
My girlfriend and I were in the market for a used 2008 Lexus IS 250 and found one at BMW Global Imports with 49K miles. When we arrived we were introduced to, "Shaq", and he explained nothing about the c Lexus IS 250 and found one at BMW Global Imports with 49K miles. When we arrived we were introduced to, "Shaq", and he explained nothing about the car. Fortunately, we had already been to the Lexus dealership and learned all we needed to know about this particular year and model although it's the principle that if you're getting ready to spend 24k on a car you kind of want that type of service. I guess my expectations were too high for a BMW dealership. Here's where the fun begins, my girlfriend liked the car so we decided to call Shaq back despite the bad service and he asked me to fill out the credit application online, which I did on Friday night. The next morning we contacted Shaq and he said we were good to go and ready to do business. I informed him that we would arrive at the dealership at 2:30 P.M. after we finished a 5K we had signed up for and he responded with, "great, I'll hold the car for you". I even offered to put down $500 to hold it which i believe is there policy. He told me to not worry about it. My thoughts were, he's pulling the car and having it detailed for when I arrive and complete the paperwork. At 1:45 P.M. he calls and says the car has been SOLD buy another rep, that his manager needed to move cars! To me that is a terrible way to do business, when I was told the car is on hold and I'd be there by a specific time to pick it up...at that point i realized i was dealing with a "Mickey Mouse Operation". Needless to say, it must of been a blessing in disguise since right after we found a 2009 Lexus IS with 27K miles at Peach Motors in Roswell with the exact interior we were looking for. Much friendlier staff and a better business model. I recommend that if you have to buy a car here, don't get Shaq as your salesman! More
This is the absolute worst dealership service department in existence. And, over the course of the years, and numerous cars purchased, I have yet to have an experience this bad. My Mini Cooper S, bought new in existence. And, over the course of the years, and numerous cars purchased, I have yet to have an experience this bad. My Mini Cooper S, bought new in 2008, 30K miles, and still under warranty, was a pleasure to drive and own. In fact, I had sent a "build" to them for the exact same car, but a convertible, to be ordered. Then one day, I go out to my car,...it won't start. Long story short, they tell me the engine is "sludged up" and the timing chain broke. Ok,....so, fix it. It's under warranty. Well, dear friends, it's apparently not that simple. First, they insist that I didn't change the oil. Wrong. So I provide them with all the oil changes, using only Castrol Synthetic, since I owned the car. Records provided indicated oil changes were in EXCESS of the manual recommendations. Then they tell me,...."well, you must have put non-premium gas in it". I NEVER used anything but premium. Then their excuse was that maybe one of the oil changes was the wrong oil. What? THEY WILL NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY! Period! Don't buy anything from these guys. The Mini Cooper S sludging problem is ALL OVER THE INTERNET, and they know it! Apparently, the turbocharger gets so hot it prematurely breaks down the oil. Yet the manual STILL states to only change the oil every 15,000 miles. Well, I have retained an attorney, and have independent certified mechanics affidavits saying this is a "design" problem. Additionally, as a former advertising photographer,....my best friend, another photog, who just happens to be the guy who has done many of the BMW marketing images, has contacted one of the CEO's of BMW in Germany. He states he is quite upset to hear about this. Good. I hope between his involvement and the lawsuit, this dealership, and it's mother company, (including Dyer & Dyer Volvo, etc.), go down for the count. Trying to fix their finacial woes on the backs of consumers is a good enough reason to say "bye-bye". Avoid this dealership like the plague. Your warrant means nothing to them. I have a 08 Mini. It was in for regular service and I mentioned that there was a problem with the gear shifter sticking in park. They called to tell me that the gear shift assembly would need to be repl mentioned that there was a problem with the gear shifter sticking in park. They called to tell me that the gear shift assembly would need to be replaced under warranty. But wait, 15 minutes later I get a call telling me that we had apparently spilled a foreign substance all in the gear shifter. And, the shifter had failed because of that spillage...now the shifter would not be covered under warranty. Well, I knew that we had not spilled anything in the car. So, I headed for the dealership to see for myself. Upon my inspection, I could see a pea size dot of a brown substance...which was not in any of the electronics of the gear shifter. It was on top of a white plastic piece. The service person told me to go home. They would have their service manager look at it. I left Atlanta for my two hour drive home thinking that the service manager would do the right thing. This was obviously not negligence on our part. The next day, I get a call from the service adviser telling me that they had pulled the assembly out completely and it was covered underneath with a brown substance. Of course, I am now 2 hours away from the dealership and unable to just pop in and look at it for myself. I had to take their word for it. After many frustrating days, they agreed to fix it for $489 instead of the $900 originally quoted. We paid it and asked for the part back. When we viewed the part, my husband and I were furious. Other than that one pea sized foreign stain, the gear shift assembly was completely clean. It was not sticky or covered with anything other than dust. They had said it was covered with a foreign substance. I can't believe we had to pay for this out of our pocket. More
