Service for programing a new additional ignition key for a new jeep I purchased last week. I brough my first jeep (2002) in 2001 at Global and have used the service department through the years including to a new jeep I purchased last week. The appt took a little longer than expected, but ok nontheless. I was able to get a quick appointment when i called. The work was performed and the car was washed. I took advantage of a discount coupon for a necessary oil change. Greg suggested I add a tire rotation, and I realized that it was time for that, too. My service took somewhat longer than I expected, but in fairness I asked that had something that had malfunctioned (but wasn't at that time) to be checked. The work they messed up at Global was done correctly the first time by Maxon Hyundai......been buying new cars since 1966....THE SERVICE DEPT. IS NON EXISTANT...The employees really don't care, just countin first time by Maxon Hyundai......been buying new cars since 1966....THE SERVICE DEPT. I have a new kia and had my first service @ Global. My bluetooth option was inoperable after the 2nd week of owning the car. They said I needed a radio replacement and ordered it. I asked if they had also done the recall work that I had been notified was outstanding and they had not but noted it for the return visit. It took me 6 phone calls to ensure that the radio part was still there and that the repairperson who could handle this matter would be there on a Saturday (I was told only one person did this work). I returned, driving an hour to get there at the appointed time. I was told it would take 1.5 hours to do the work plus the time to do the recall work, which would be slight but mandated once they knew a recall was in existence. I left a phone number asking for a call as soon as they were done as I had a 3 hour drive ahead and wanted to leave asap. No one called me so I rang and received a call back. I was told that the blue tooth could not be fixed because my blackberry was incompatible. I didn't believe that for a minute but drove to get my car. Upon arrival, I asked if the recall work (that I had been told they "MUST" do once notified) had been done. It had not. When I asked for my car, it took 10 minutes to bring it from a far lot. I then asked if my car had been worked on at all and it had not. I immediately called the dealer that sold me the car and inquired if blackberry was compatible and it is. THEREFORE, IT WAS CLEAR THAT THIS DEALERSHIP LIED TO ME IN ORDER NOT TO HAVE TO WORK ON MY CAR, PRESUMABLY BECAUSE WARRANTY WORK PROBABLY PAYS THEM LESS THEN OTHER WORK AND THEY JUST DIDN'T FEEL LIKE DOING IT. I left a msg with the sales manager to this effect and he called me the next day and confirmed that no one ever touched my car and that I had been lied to. I would recommend steering clear of this service center. More
I must say that I am Very Satisfied, The Sales associate was very detailed with providing all the information on the vehicles and the price was just right. The young Lady from the internet sales department was very detailed with providing all the information on the vehicles and the price was just right. The young Lady from the internet sales department scheduled a time for me to test drive a few vehicles and I must admit, I was amazed she lead me in the right direction on what my teenager would want. This dealer provided the worst customer service I've ever experienced. If you're considering buying a Hyundaii, I recomemnd you not buy it here. I didn't have a good feeling when we bought the car, and with each trip to the service dept. I felt worse. Within a year of the purchase we had to replace the washer fluid motor, window motor, transmission, on board computer. In the second year we had to have this computer reset multiple times, had the sunroof replaced, and the gasline replaced!!! All this and not one appology from the dealer. It was a terrible experience and I will never buy another Hyundaii because of it. More
