This review is about the difference in the treatment from Chris Speak that I received from a previous visit to this dealership years ago. The salesman back then was rude, arrogant and condescending. Left and purchased from a different dealership.. Chris was great to work with and he was NOT rude, arrogant or condescending. He continued to check inventory for a vehicle that would meet our needs. We ended up finding a vehicle at another dealership but we would recommend dealing with Chris Speak if you stop at Glenbrook Hyundai. More
We called around to a few different places regarding her credit and At 11am Trent from Glenbrook Hyundai assures is if she would get approved anywhere in Fort Wayne it would be there as they work with “30 d credit and At 11am Trent from Glenbrook Hyundai assures is if she would get approved anywhere in Fort Wayne it would be there as they work with “30 different lenders” and could potentially get her in a car “today”. Lie number 1. I explained to him the credit score and everything and he seemed assured that he could work with it. I told him I have too much debt to income ratio because I own too many things and have too many active loans and explained to him I can’t co-sign. He told us give him 30 minutes LIE NUMBER 2 after she fills out the approval App and he will get back with us. After waiting about 3 hours WE CALLED THEM. were referred to a man named Riley by Trent, because we did this over the phone. meanwhile she doesn’t have a car to drive that she owns because it as I said was having problems. Riley didn’t care too much about prioritizing this whatsoever told us that she ended up needing a co signer she decided to go with her dad also not great credit who lives 3 hours away told Trent this as Riley was busy and he said no problem they can overnight the documents. After saying they were waiting to hear more from their “lenders” we waited until 7pm 1 hour before they closed and called back and they said that she had been approved by one lender but were working on a few more but the banks were closed and we would find more out tomorrow and would call us in the morning. So then comes Thursday morning Then comes the afternoon. 12pm Girlfriend calls them and asks them hey what’s going on? Well, Riley then says that they need her dads pay stubs and her pay stubs, not sure why this wasn’t done yesterday??? 3 hours later no call back 3pm She calls them AGAIN apparently it took them 3 hours to say the pay stub she sent them from her dad was too distorted on their end so she needed to resend it so she did. 4:30 pm and I call Riley and tell him she needs a car today so she won’t miss work. He tells me that if I come down there and sign with my great credit she will be good to leave today or if her dad comes down and signs today . Well Trent told us that we were OK to have the co sign not present and that they would overnight the documents to him. I told him again that I can’t get her approved I have too many loans “toys”. He said this is our options for today. So I call Trent the internet sales manager And tell him what Riley told me and asked him if we come up there without her dad she is good now for a car correct? And he said yes. So I leave work early and took a 1/2 point to drive her up there before they close We were going to see an Elantra with 5kish miles on it for 15k. So after leaving work Trent calls me and tells me that no it won’t work like that after all. I ask the the manager Nathan if we can sign the contract until her dad can come up there Monday and just void the previous contract. They refer us to a new salesman Evan and we tell them this is what we want And after filling out all the paperwork and running a hard inquiry on her credit and mine they roll her around a car that only her and her dad will get approved on then told me that it won’t work on my credit anyway because I have too many loans which I told them in the first place! The car they bring around is a 2016 Chevy Malibu that clearly does not look like it was taken care of. I told Evan as a passenger the driving felt extremely stiff on it and he told me that it can feel like that with new cars. I told him it’s a 2016 with 35k miles on it and I have bought 5 fords and none of them ride or drive as stuff as that car. after she drove it and seen that the tires had Bulges on the sidewalks on ALL 4 tires And I want to see the car fax then Evan goes and gets the manager I assume Nathan Didn’t bring the car fax. Says that he will replace the tires and said that they must be bad from the plant. If all 4 tires have an issue the chances of continental sending out 4 bad bulge ridden tires to go on 1 car doesn’t really add up. I asked him to have a mechanic look at it and tell me what’s going on with the wheels or the car to make something like that happen. They said we will look and see if they have any more cars that could get approved on her credit and said they’d be right back. Standing outside 10 minutes later neither came back and we drove off and had enough. More
Terrible Dealership The experience at this dealership is terrible. The salesman that I worked with was James Stephens. James did a great job on making things right and tried to help with any issues. The negative experience with this dealership was with Jeff, David, and Rachel. Jeff was extremely rude and was yelling and swearing over the phone at me. David is really rude and very threatening. He won’t help at all and tries to talk to you in a condescending tone which is totally unprofessional. Do not purchase a vehicle from this dealership because they run your credit multiple times and won’t try and make things right. After your purchase they will threaten you and talk to you in a condescending tone. I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership again. This dealership will also take forever to payoff your previous car loan. This dealership waited until last minute to send the paperwork to the DMV and hides cost and has deceptive practices. Avoid this dealership and purchase a vehicle from another dealership. More

We bought a van that was a few years old. When we were buying the car and going through the paperwork they said it had a warranty we were getting. I asked is it included in the price. They said yes. We had three kids with us so I didn't look super close at the paperwork. They said they had us approved before we even said yes since we started the paperwork. We went back to wait for them. It took like 45 minutes. Once we got home a few days later we found out it was because they ran us through multiple inquiries at multiple banks multiple times. They never told us they were doing this. Then we get the car home a drive it a few weeks. Everything seems fine. I go through a drive thru one night and the window falls out of the track and won't roll up. I figure they will fix it since it has been about a month and a half. We call and ask about the window and they say schedule an appointment and we will look at it, but it will cost $140 to diagnose it. I think what the xxxx I have a warranty and this is less then 2 months after I bought it. They said yes you have a warranty, but there is a $200 deductible. Again what the xxxx. They never told me that when we were getting it. I say that is unacceptable and they say they will talk to the manager. The manager never gets back to me after 5 days. I called multiple times each time they tell me they will get a message to him. It never happens. I tell the sales guy Evan and he says he will talk to the manager. He doesn't get back to me with answer until over a week later. The answer if I take down the bad review and they might split it. Screw that crap. I rather warn everyone to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM than save $100. More

I recently bought this vehicle and also purchased a warranty for my tires. I spoke with Emma and explained that I ran over a piece of metal but I have a warranty. Emma sat down and read the full terms and conditions to get a better understanding of my warranty agreement and explained to me what I needed to do before they even touched the tire. If she did not take the time to read through all of that paper work (like I definitely should have) and tell me I needed to make a claim with the warranty company first, I would’ve voided my whole warranty and the $1500 I paid for it would have been wasted! I really appreciate all the help Emma gave me and I will continue to take my vehicle to be serviced at Glenbrook Hyundai because of the great experience I had with her. More

Great Experience! I spoke with Dakota after calling to get a car. He was immediately friendly and helpful. The lady at the reception desk was very nice and she kept my 3 year old busy so I could focus on my paperwork. I would recommend anyone looking for a new car to call Dakota! More
