Brendan made sure I knew the features of the different models. and was not only knowledgeable about what was in stock, but what and when new stock would become available. He at no time made me feel pressured or intimidated into buying a car. Brendan offered vehicles that would be a good buy for me, rather than push for those that were more expensive. He went the extra mile literally, and delivered to my home a touch-up paint that was hard to find. Brendan never made excuses or balked when I asked for imperfections to be repaired, and kept a list of what I wanted and made sure they were done and that I was happy. He even scheduled my next maintenance visit and sent it to me online. Hassel Volvo has always been a trustworthy and accommodating dealership, having Brendan Callendar as a Sales Consultant has only made it more so! More

Finance percent in contract was higher than I was told...they fixed "mistake" when I showed them before I signed. The Business Manger gave me the wrong extended warranty contract...I paid for the pol told...they fixed "mistake" when I showed them before I signed. The Business Manger gave me the wrong extended warranty contract...I paid for the policy that returned the premium if the policy was unused, but the provided contract did not have this feature...I had to call national Volvo (I had been told several times by the Business Manager that the corrected contract was in the mail and it never arrived!) and then the general manager fixed the "mistake" after they were contacted by national Volvo. I was told that their suggested alternative to Lojack included free automatic notification if there was an accident...it did not. This dealer's actions were criminal in my opinion. I own three Volvos and would never go to hassel to buy a car. Buyer BEWARE! Hassel is a real hassel. More

I narrowed down my options to different dealers when looking to purchase a late model Volvo C70, and I thank the stars above that I decided to go with the one Pete Giordano had shown to me. Everyone there is a true professional: Pete, Frank, Steve the service manager, and the rest of the sales team all make you feel you just joined "the Volvo family" when you purchase a car there. From the warm staff at the reception area who learn your name to the ease of pulling your car up to their Valet parking (yes, you heard right!)--- this place is first class. Residing in Huntington, I initially visitied their local competitor. Unimpressed, I moved on to Hassel Volvo and was glad I did. Anthony Mastroianni immediately introduced himself and we had the deal done with a straight forward, no nonsense approach. No games....what are you looking for and let me help you find the right vehicle. To date, the most pleasant experience in obtaining a vehicle from a dealership. They knew that I was in need of a new car and the time to start looking was quickly approaching. Over the years my parents owned several Volvos and were familiar with our local dealership and its' staff. By chance, they had seen a car advertised online at Hassel that they had interest in and decided to go take a look. Well, they not only left with a new car, they left with new dealership, and more importantly, the feeling that they had gotten a great service and a great deal. When they left, my mother immediately called me to relay the story of their fantastic experience. She noted how at other dealerships the salespeople only spoke to my father, barely acknowledging her existence, but Peter showed her the respect and courtesy that she deserved. He treated her the way someone would want thier mother, wife or daughter to be treated in a forum where women are all to often disrespected. She was so impressed with Peters' treatment that she not only promised to bring him her son as a customer, she promised to bring him one of his apparent favorites, cannoli(s) from brooklyn. Well although he's still waiting on the canoli(s), I was happy to confirm all of my parents rave reviews when I purchased my new car.
