Need be honest and integrity! I am writing this email to bring your attention that I am not satisfied with the customer service provided at Glen Cover Volve. I would appreciate this regrettable incident could be settled in a timely manner. On March 31, 2016, I signed a 36-month lease with Glen Cove Volvo. The finance manager requested me to make a down payment of USD 3,121.28 upon completion of the transaction. I asked her to specify payment details. She said “the down payment includes a $980 bank fee, DMV charge and a $250 whatsoever fee that guarantees a $3,000 money back in case the vehicle is stolen”. She added “the fees are mandatory”, though I did not find such fees in my contract afterwards. I have been repeatedly asking her for a detailed explanation on the contract. But I was told that I should bring back all documents and read through them at home since it was late and they had to close the store. I kept in contact with the same person in the next couple days but I received the same ambiguous answer. The service quality leaves much to be desired. Furthermore, I had a 2013 Volkwogen Passat due to be returned. Ms. Christine promised me that they would take care of my vehicle repairing fee and I would not spend a penny provided that I pay an extra $ 50 monthly. She said she would be held responsible for my case and I could contact her if something happens. All above was listed in contract. On June 27, I received a $ 524 bill from Volkwogen for the charge of vehicle damage. I, therefore, contacted Ms. Christine and she said that she would email the headquarter. However, I received another letter from VW requesting bill payment 2 weeks later. I called glen cove and they failed to give me any practical solution. Thus, I had to pay the bill as to avoid delay fees. On August 27, I wrote an email and notify that I would take legal action againt G/C Volve if they still ignore my request. She explained that she thought that the case was handled by someone else and she would check it again. Today is 09-09-2016 and I did not receive any feedback so far and I do appreciate that my issues would be addressed with immediate attention. Please refund the $ 524 repairing fee. Believe me, I did not go into Volvo to lease a car; however, after discussing the pros of leasing, that is exactly what I did.
