I originally started my day at Gladstone Dodge on the Missouri side. I knew that OP Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge had the vehicle I wanted but was hesitant to make the 40 minute drive there. I saw that Gladsto Missouri side. I knew that OP Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge had the vehicle I wanted but was hesitant to make the 40 minute drive there. I saw that Gladstone Dodge had a similar vehicle that was en route and decided to go there first. As soon as I walked in, the sales man at Gladstone Dodge began to print off vehicle descriptions of various Dodge Chargers that were black and in various options. Eventually, the sales man printed off a vehicle description that was a 2013 Dodge Charger RT AWD V8 black in color. The salesman asked for my drivers license and made a copy of my license, and kept it in the back office while we discussed the vehicle he had printed. When I told him the vehicle he had showed me looked very much like the one OP Chrysler Jeep Dodge had on their lot that they had on their lot for 32,000, they backpedaled and hem hawed telling me the best price they could give me was 35,000. As the day drug on, I asked for my license back several times as the salesman gave me excuses and the manager tried to get me to agree to the price of the vehicle. Eventually, we (my fiance and I) had to walk into the manager's office and demand my driver's license back. The manager became belligerent and made smart comments about some supposed "deal" we had struck. As we left their dealership, the manager through the paperwork of the vehicle at the sales man we had talked to in plain view of the entire parking lot, customers and other staff. I then made the trip to OP Chrysler Jeep Dodge to look at the vehicle that they had sitting on their lot. I contacted TJ who said that Gladstone Dodge had called them and was trying to buy the vehicle (and then sell it to me for 3 grand more). The dealership was extremely helpful, minus the small issues listed, and clean. After Gladstone Dodge and their lack of professionalism, OP Chrysler Jeep Dodge was a dream come true. More

Everyone we worked with was eager to help and ready to finalize a deal. We were able to get the amount we wanted for our trade in, as well as getting the new vehicle at a great deal as well. We never once finalize a deal. We were able to get the amount we wanted for our trade in, as well as getting the new vehicle at a great deal as well. We never once felt like we were just a number, even though they were all very busy. More

He was patient as I looked at se away and escorted to my sales agent Mike Smith. Mike was very intelligent and was able to answer all my questions. He was patient as I looked at several different trucks and price shopped to get the best possible price. The price offered by Mike and Gladstone was the best deal in town and I will be recommending all of my friends to this dealership for their car buying needs! What a great experience!! More
We went in there to buy a new 2012 Jeep Liberty. They did have any with sunroofs which was a must for us, they said dont worry we can put one in. They could get the loan done in time before we had to leave. have any with sunroofs which was a must for us, they said dont worry we can put one in. They could get the loan done in time before we had to leave. We agreed on $500 down and our 2004 Grand Prix GT for trade in. When we came back the next day Danny said they couldnt fit the sunroof in the loan so we were going to leave, but he said for $500 more they could do the sunroof, so we did. Next we went to the warranty office and he told us that they could not include that in the loan, so we paid another $730.14 on a credit card, money we didnt have to spend, but he said it would include a lifetime warranty on the paint(clear coat) and undercariage(rustproofing). When we took the car home we noticed 4 little knots in the bumper, so we called and told them about it. They said no problem we will fix it when you bring it in for the sunroof, clear coat, and rustproofing. We dropped it off for 5 days and when we got it home we noticed they didnt do anything with the clear coat or rustproofing so we had to drive 40 miles to bring it back to them. They didnt offer any gas money for their mistake or anything. We had trouble getting plates at the DMV because we just moved from Illinois and needed to go to the court house for residentcy. Then when we go back to the DMV to get the plates they tell us that they didnt include tax on the car in our loan and we need to pay $1900 out of our own pocket. So now we have a new car we cant get plates on because we dont have that kind of extra money. We already spent $1230 more than what we budgeted. Went in to talk to the owner and he said he is not my Tax Advisor. He was very rude and kept repeating himself about the Tax Advisor. They should of told us, hey by the way tax is not included and you will have to pay that out of your own pocket. We would of walked out, but no, Danny snuck it by us and we signed the papers. We are real idiots to trust them, but we have bought cars in the past and always had tax included in the price. They are scammers and dont trust them, the owner is a jerk and has NO customer service skills. He did give us $500 and wrote it off as a charity donation.lol So it didnt cost him anything. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM, IM WARNING YOU NOW! We currently drive our other car because we can not plate the new one. We wrote in big white shoe polish, "DO NOT BUY FROM GLADSTONE DODGE" on the back window as our advertisement. Hopefully this hurts their sales more than the $1400 more they should of gave us for there unhonesty. More
I made an appointment for a State Inspection online and received a reply to bring it in on Wednesday, 1/9/13. Upon my arrival I pulled into the service area and waited by my vehicle. There were (4) servi received a reply to bring it in on Wednesday, 1/9/13. Upon my arrival I pulled into the service area and waited by my vehicle. There were (4) service advisors who seemed busy on their computers. Finally one service advisor approached me (Heather) and asked if they could help me. I indicated that I had an appointment for a MVI. The comments out of her mouth were sarcastic stating that they did not do state inspections on Wednesday and asked who made the appointment with me. I told here and it was obvious she was displeased but said she would take care of it reluctantly. I also mentioned that I needed my tires checked. She indicated that it was part of their courtesy multi-point inspection. Approximately an hour later I was approached by Heather and was told my vehicle passed inspection but my vehicle needed attention to several areas such as an oil change, new battery and there is an oil leak. She stated quoted a price for this service which I declined. She said she would have my vehicle brought around along with the paperwork. I waited by the service entrance and waited while she took care of other customers arriving in the service area. After delivery of my vehicle and arriving at home I checked the tires. The tires were never checked and were low. It is obvious the courtesy check is for items that the dealer can derive possible revenue from and ignores basic general requests by the customer. Lack of attention to detail. Despite some basic remodeling at this dealership the service is the same. I would NOT recommend this dealership for service period! More
I bought a Charger from Gladstone Dodge on Nov. 3, 2012 and after having the vehicle for a couple of weeks, found about 7 things wrong with it. I took it in the Monday before Thanksgiving thinking it woul and after having the vehicle for a couple of weeks, found about 7 things wrong with it. I took it in the Monday before Thanksgiving thinking it would be in and out. Wrong, I picked it up that Wednesday as I was leaving town and wanted to drive my car, I returned it to the service department the following Monday and finally picked my car up on December 19th. The two biggest issues were a sunroof that would not open, and my hard drive on the stereo that did not work properly. I was told after 2 weeks that my car was done so went to pick it up only to find out that in fact it was not so that was my 4th trip. My 5th trip was to return the loaner vehicle that I was allowed to drive for a few days, and today was my 6th trip. I went to pick up my car today because was told yesterday it was COMPLETE. I ended up having to wait about an hour once I got there to pick it up because someone forgot to pull the mileage off the odometer and a few other things so I could go get it tagged. It seems to me that Gladstone Dodge service department can only focus on one task at a time, while I waited 3 weeks to get the new frame for the sunroof, apparently all work was halted on my car because after they got the sunroof fixed, I had to wait an additional week for a hard drive to come in because apparently someone cancelled the order. How is it that there is a work order written up on a vehicle yet for 3 weeks it sits and not one person realized that the hard drive was never replaced, much less received. After leaving the car lot I discovered that the auto on my headlights does not work, which is something new because before I took it in the headlights did come on when I started my car. I think I will cut my loses and take my car to another dodge dealership to have them troubleshoot this problem as I do not have the time nor the patience to let them have my car for who knows how long. To top it all of, today, 16 days after my 30 day tag expired I went to tag my vehicle, and while the sales agreement was that they would pay my sales taxes, I ended up having to pick up an additional $167.00 because they figured the tax rate wrong. To sum up my thoughts on the service department at Gladstone Dodge let me just say that I will not be taking my car back to them for so much as an oil change. In and out in an hour, HA!!! Maybe at another service department, but at Gladstone Dodge who knows how many days it's liable to take. More
Vehicle has been in shop for 30 days for minor repair. When I offered to purchase another vehicle I was offered 6500 less than I paid for vehicle. When I offered to purchase another vehicle I was offered 6500 less than I paid for vehicle. More
I have been searching for Tiguans for a few months now and I was called when they had one they thought I would like in. Clyde stayed the entire time even though he was off to make sure everything went smo and I was called when they had one they thought I would like in. Clyde stayed the entire time even though he was off to make sure everything went smooth with financing and signing papers. The extended warranty wasn't much more which was a relief. The price was a tad bit high but they brought it down $1,000 for us. I have gotten several follow up calls to make sure I like the car and have figured everything out. I also accidently left the lights on, oops, so the next morning after I bought the car, the battery was dead. I called the dealer, an within an hr a service man was there taking my car back to replace the battery and cables. I called at 9 and by 11 I was being called to come pick up my car again. Overall, great dealer. We will definitely go there to look for our next car before anywhere else. More
I visited this dealership because they had a used vehicle that I was interested in purchasing, and I thought the price was fair. I made an appointment to test drive the vehicle, indicating that I was tavelin that I was interested in purchasing, and I thought the price was fair. I made an appointment to test drive the vehicle, indicating that I was taveling in from out of town. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted promptly by the salesman I had made the appointment with, Adam. He took me out to the lot, telling me that he had taken the car I was interested in back to be cleaned up a few hours ago and that he would go get it. He pulled up and proceeded to tell me that the detailers hadn't had a chance to get to it yet. That definitely didn't make me feel important... Additionally, having been through the test drive process a few times I asked Adam if he needed a copy of my drivers license, and he told me "no, I don't worry about all that formal stuff". Away we go on our test drive... There was an annoying beeping coming from the car, some kind of a "speed warning" that beeped every time the MPH went over 20. Adam spent a good deal of time reading the owners manual, trying to figure out how to shut the warning off, eventually I figured it out on my own. For the remained of the test drive we went through the usual small talk that sales men use to glean information... was I purchasing this car on my own, would I be trading my current vehicle in, etc. I was especially offended when we were talking about my trade in. He asked if there was any damage to the vehicle and I told him there was a little paint missing from the back bumper. He referred to this damage as a "whiskey dent", a term that I was not familiar with. He went on to explain that I whiskey dent was when "you know, you've maybe had a little too much to drink and you get behind the wheel and maybe you back up and hit something." Excuse me? This inappropriate behavior went on further when we got back to the dealership and I asked about a special feature of the car. The description stated that there was a beverage cooler in the glove box and I wanted to see if this was true. Oh yes, he tells me, and proceeds to show me how it works, "so if you want to put a bottle of water in here or a BEER or other beverage of your choice, it will keep it cool." Once again, excuse me? This guy clearly had me pegged as some kind of drunk driving lush, which couldn't be further from the truth. Once back inside, I was subjected to the hard sale, the guilt sale, etc. I told him that I had seen a lot of cars that day and needed to think over all of my options. I asked him if he was going to be working the next morning, which is when I anticipated making my decision. He told me he was, but I could tell he was put out with having to deal with me. I had told him I liked the car, I had liked the test drive, why weren't we making a deal? I can tell you the reason we didn't make the deal and it was the sales man. If that car had been on a different lot, or even if I had met with a different sales man, I might have bought that car but there was no way I was dealing with him. I bought a car from another dealer the next morning. More
