I have been coming to this dealership for 21 years since I purchased/leased my first new 1989 Maxima (through our company Systems Engineering & Analytics)in March of 1990. Richard has always been wonderful to work with and has always taken very good care of the cars I purchased/leased at your dealership...a 1994 Maxima, 1996 Quest, 2000 Maxima, 2000 Pathfinder and, after a new owner of the Company, a 2003 Maxima, 2006 Maxima, and 2009 Maxima. I currently own a 2006 Infinity G35x which is the car that I am currently having serviced there. I have a great trust in the service provided by Richard and all of the staff in the service department! More
Im in the military and have been going to Girard Nisan for all maintenance on my car and any body work. I've had no complaints in the past two and half years going there. Customer Service: They anticipated my needs, not just did what I asked (which is all I wanted), and definitely didn't just do whatever they wanted to do, disregarding what I'd asked. Example: I had my engine what I asked (which is all I wanted), and definitely didn't just do whatever they wanted to do, disregarding what I'd asked. Example: I had my engine replaced, and they inspected the car not just for things they might do to gain themselves more work, but they inspected things that have made me get rid of used cars before - rust in nooks & crannies, looked at suspension issues particular to my vehicle, etc. I found this extremely helpful, especially since it wasn't just done to maximize their bill. Quality of Work: We discussed the details of the engine swap and related work, like new spark plugs and how the threaded holes looked, thermostat, etc. These were the kinds of things I'd do if I were doing the job myself. Friendliness: I don't personally care about friendliness; I want them to work on my car like a serious professional and I don't need them to pretend to be my friend. Still, it's nice to be friendly with people, and these people (all of them, from the manager to the cashier) were professional and friendly. They could even be a dealership in the south (where people usually ARE friendly) and fit right in. Overall experience: Not sure what this means, but I figure it means that there was no reason to think I'd go elsewhere next time. I trust these people and so I figure that is close enough to saying that their overall score is great. Price: An engine replacement is not a simple job; I've usually done them for my own cars, because of our budget. The price is not something that's easy to compare. They worked with me to make the price very reasonable, so I can only describe what they came up with as great. More
My Service Engine Soon (SES) light illuminated on my dashboard Sunday evening while driving so I took my car in first thing Monday morning to have it checked. I usually have Chuck look at my car as he is really the only one I like working on my car since he has been for over the past 5 years but he was out that day so Kevin had Rich get the car in and hook it up to the computer to find out what was causing the problem. Kevin came and got me in the waiting room and brought me out to Rich to explain the problem to me. Rich was very thorough in explaining to me that it was a problem with the Throttle Body and that he recommended not to drive the car because of safety reasons. Of course, I trust the judgement of any of the service technicians at Girard so I made arrangements with Kevin to have the car kept at the dealership. Kevin informed me that he would have the part shipped overnight and could do the work first thing Tuesday morning. Kevin explained the breakdown of the costs and even though it was a bit expensive I knew it was the best option because I do not want to be driving an unsafe car. Kevin immediately contacted Enterprise Rental and made arrangements for a car for me to have while the car was waiting to be worked on. The following day, Tuesday, Kevin called me around 11:00am and informed me the car was repaired and ready for pick up. I arrived at the dealership after returning the rental car and found out that Chuck, who was out on Monday, did the work on the car that Tuesday. Even though Rich diagnosed the problem and I had no problem with Rich working on the car, they knew that Chuck is the one that usually does all the work on my car and I greatly appreciate them doing that for me but like I said I would not have mind if Rich did the work as he is one of their Master Technicians and after talking to him that Monday I had no doubts in my mind. The technicians at Girard are top notch and professional. I would not even think of having my car serviced anywhere else. I spoke with Chuck about the work that was done on the car and as always was very thorough. These guys are the unsung heroes and I just want to personally thank Chuck and Rich for what they did to diagnose and fix the problem on my Nissan Altima. My Altima is a 2005 V-6 SE with over 123,000 miles and still runs like it is brand new and the reason for it running so well is because of the guys like Chuck and Rich. I did want to send a personal thank you out to Tara who works in Customer Support, she is the one that takes my money...LOL, just kidding. She always has a smile on her face and very peronable, it is people like Tara also that make it a pleasure to bring my car there even for my routine oil changes. From the first time I contacted Girard Nissan, I was treated very well. Richard was friendly and helpful and made me feel comfortable. I brought my car in at the appointed time. The work was written up and I left the car. The car is running as expected. I am pleased with the service I received and I would recommend Girard Nissan to others. More

Richard took us out to see the progress while parts were awaiting arrival, where we met our mechanic & he explained & was very confident in what he was doing which put us at ease. They also went to the extreme to make sure we weren't inconvenieced, seeing we both needed transportation for work, to provide us with a nice car for the week. They did this during a very busy holiday week, presidents' week. They thought of the customer over their own needs which made us feel special. Thanks, again!! When I brought my car in, I had my twin 4 month olds with me. Everyone made sure that the service was done quickly so that I wouldn't have to wait too long. Ryan explained everything that he was doing to fix my problem about a light not going off and causing me to fail emissions testing. I feel that he was honest with me and trustworthy. This is my 4th Nissan, need I say more The cars run great have great sound systems, handle well on the road and my new Versa gets great mileage. Customer Service: This received this rating due to the fact I needed to return to the dealership for owners manuals etc. Also for the fact I was the one who had to take the car to get gas and then return fact I needed to return to the dealership for owners manuals etc. Also for the fact I was the one who had to take the car to get gas and then return the next day for reimbursement. I also was never shown nothing more than how to start and stop the the motor of the car, and how to open the fuel fore before being sent on my way. Quality of work received a rating of n/a due to the fact the reason for visit was for a new car purchase and no one touched the car. Friendliness: The dealer and manager were nice, including the gut who helped me the next day in helping setup my ipod and cell phone to the car. The finance manager I over herd yelling and using foul language to someone on his personal cell phone. This made me nervous when I had to sit down with him to go over the final cost. Overall Experience: My overall experience was not a great one. This answer is partially based on the previous response to the questions on this survey. I also base this answer on the appearance of the facilities, which I found to be badly maintained, missing lights, leaking ceilings, and a lot not treated for ice conditions when there was abundant ice. Price: The price was ok based on brand and features. I felt way too much pressure on purchasing things including etching and tire packages, when i told the finance officer that I was not interested in those things, nor was anything ever etched on to the car. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I recommend this dealership learn some customer service skills. If not I hope that Nissan will no longer allow this dealership to sell their products. Furthermore I find their sales ethics unacceptable. More
