Our choice was going to come down to pricing ultimately regardless of the car we really wanted. We got a call back almost immediately from Tariq Kassam he heard what we wanted and promised he could deliver and man did he ever! He spent the whole day in constant contact with us, asking more information about what we were after, giving us updates. We were most concerned about financing and approval we were even at another dealer talking things through with them and he worked SO HARD getting us approved within a matter of hours at an EVEN BETTER financing opportunity than we had hoped for. We were hoping for just a nice used SUV, Tariq found us a BRAND NEW Honda pilot at a better cost than we were going to get used at another dealer. He was flexible in letting us come in too see him promising to stay as late as we needed (we had kids to pickup) and went as far as to have the AC turned on and ready for a test drive so our baby wasn’t in a hot car. Got our other Honda into service on an extremely short notice so we could get an oil change while we were already there. He stayed until the very end late at night making sure we were taken of and we left with our now two cars completely ready to go and serviced all in the same day! More

I called in to inquire about a 2023 Honda CR-V Sport Touring hybrid and spoke with two different salespeople, I believe one of whom was named Larry. First of all, this dealer has one of the most arrogan Touring hybrid and spoke with two different salespeople, I believe one of whom was named Larry. First of all, this dealer has one of the most arrogant sales teams I’ve ever met. The first salesman I spoke to started arguing with me that the Sport Touring only came in one shade of blue (that’s factually incorrect, it comes in two), which was concerning because I expect a sales person to know their cars better than that. And secondly it was just incredibly off putting. Second salesman was less rude but told me flat out that it’s a $5K pure cash markup and that there’s a line of people 50 deep so he didn’t feel the need to do anything for me. I understand that Honda thinks it can jerk it’s customers all around but after considering the CRV, but I hope they realize that many people aren’t there because that’s all they can afford, but rather because they like the Honda product. After considering the car even with the markup, we realized the markup put it in range of a Lexus so we popped over to Lexus and bought the NX350h instead! Took delivery just a few days later too. Sorry, Honda. Your dealer experience was SO bad I won’t be considering your brand ever again. Also, when the market evens out I can only hope that dealers who are putting outrageous ($5K on a $38K non-luxury car) get some karma for that. More
