We price our inventory online at what the market indicates the vehicle should sell for, most of our customers like the Internet Value Pricing model that we use. The customer arrived at the dealership and wanted to purchase one of our vehicles. The customer offered a price thousands less than what it was listed for online. We declined the offer as we do in most cases. Based on the customer’s comments, an attempt was made to deal with a different salesperson with similar results. We will offer pricing changes to customers who have inquired about a specific vehicle when they become available. I believe that to be the case in this instance. Our policy is we do not accept deposits on our vehicles. We do not turn someone away who wants to buy a vehicle they are looking at today for someone who might or might not arrive later.
