Poor Customer Service, Snake in the grass Sales people Terrible Customer Service at this dealership. I live in Nashville but had been communicating with one of the sales people there for about a week in re Terrible Customer Service at this dealership. I live in Nashville but had been communicating with one of the sales people there for about a week in regards to a certain vehicle. I am very particular about my cars and knew exactly what I wanted. I scheduled an appointment on a Wednesday morning for the upcoming Saturday at 10am. I spoke to the sales person the day before my appointment to confirm with them that they accepted cash as a down payment- they advised that would not be a problem and they looked forward to seeing me the following morning. The sales person wrote an email that stated: "I’ll have the Altima pulled up for you to see. I look forward to working with you on your upcoming purchase! Please let me know if you have any questions before Saturday. See you soon!" I rented a car and drove almost 2 hours (each way) to get the car I had been communicating with them about. Upon my arrival, the car was not anywhere to be found, the sales person I had an appointment with was not even there. There were several sales people trying to locate the vehicle and after about 5 mins of looking- a very untrustworthy sales person told me the vehicle had been sold last night after hours.....He seemed to be making everything up on the fly with excuse after excuse . They were not very apologetic and did not seem to care at all that I had made the long trip for a vehicle they sold without even telling me. They made up lies about why they didn't contact me about the car being sold and tried to get me to look at something else. I explained I did not drive 100 miles to look at another vehicle, I already had the one I wanted picked out- with the cash in my pocket to purchase. I would NOT make a purchase from this dealer under any circumstances and was extremely disappointed with how I was treated. Poor customer service! More
Dead in garage in less than 24 hours Found truck on Internet. Texted to inquire..Drove hour to get there. Making trade deal was fairly easy. (I know why now) On way home discovered radio doesn't work. Text again. They say bring it back they will fix. Here is where the headache starts. Get up next morning and truck will not start. "Dead in garage". Call Gillie Hyde. No help. Research internet find this is a common problem. Electrical issues Finally get started. Drive to dealer. Extremely rude sales manager (first encounter with him) informs us we can not cancel the deal and take our trade in vechile back. Because we signed the papers. Basically saying it was our problem.. One would think they would care about their business name. Very many deals like this one and they may not have a business. We intend to tell everyone we know about this experience. Oh, and they never fixed the radio. Said if they touched it factory warranty would be affected. So why tell us to bring back if they knew this already. More
Sold me a car with the check light on After signing the paperwork I went to get in it and the check engine light was on. They told me the light was on the whole time. Even though had not even driven off, since they tricked me into signing without seeing it again, they had me over a barrel and would not do anything about it. On the way home three more indicators came on. They sold me a lemon, and knew it the whole time. I feel like a xxxx victim. Worst experience ever. More

The dealership contacted me when inquiring about the vehicle onlin Found a 2005 Chevy Silverado 4x4 extended cab online that Gillie Hyde had for sale. The dealership contacted me when inquiring about the vehicle online. I spoke with one of the sales reps and she told me the truck was in great shape but it wasn't! I drove down to Glasgow which was over an hour from where I live to see the truck and I could not believe my eyes! This was an old farm truck and the dealership was using it as a service vehicle! The truck had a bunch of dents in it and the driver side was all rusted up. It had no tail gate on it and the inside had a lot of trash in it. I wasted a vacation day to go look at this truck and all I saw was a truck that should have never been put on the internet to sell to begin with! The sales rep I talked to had never laid eyes on the truck and then proceeded to tell me that it was in good shape? These people need to do their homework before speaking to a customer to try and sale a vehicle that should not have ever been put on the market to sell! More
