He explained everything,including the sync system and other"tech" features with admirable patience. Every question I asked,he had an answer for.Very knowledgable. Friendly,but not pushy.He let me know about all the other options I could add,but didn't force the issue like so many other salesman I have dealt with in the past. Not only will I be back when I want to trade,I will recommend this dealer,and this sales associate specifically,to everyone I know. I am a very happy camper! More
Rebecca and Richie took the extra time to go over the vehicle and paperwork on the vehicle I purchased. The Salesperson made a promise to find the vehicle we wanted and said it would not be a problem. It was a problem. After almost a week, no vehicle found. We gave them a $500 check as partial down pay wanted and said it would not be a problem. It was a problem. After almost a week, no vehicle found. Communication to us about the status of finding a vehicle was not forthcoming and we had to pester the salesperson to get information. Meanwhile we checked with other Ford dealers in the area and they all responded within a day or less with either a car we wanted or an offer to order a new 2014. Gurnee didn't even think to do this. We found the perfect vehicle at another dealership and decided to take our business there. Gurnee would not match their price, so we requested our check back. They gave us a hard time saying that it hasn't cleared and we have to wait for it to clear before they can write a refund check. We checked our bank account and that's when we found out that they cashed it the day after we wrote it and that it had cleared. They were rude to me and my wife when we called to arrange a pick up of the check. I had purchased 2 other vehicles from this dealer in the past with no problems, but the salesman I worked with is now gone. Looks like he might have been carrying the place! Warning to anyone shopping for a car at this dealership or any other. If the salesperson cannot look you in the eye when talking to you, leave as soon as you can. I should have listened to my gut and walked out, but I was so focused on getting the car that I continued talking to them. More

I started my search on the Internet and was contacted by Gurnee Ford. They did everything they could to locate a car I wanted at the price I wanted before I even walked into the dealership. They understood I was very busy and could not be in a hurry since my work took precedence. When numbers and model were agreed upon I went to the dealership to work with Shane to find the color combination I wanted. He first showed me all the bells and whistles in the option package I had selected. He never tried to sell me more than I wanted or try to push me Into something I didn't want like an ugly color because it was available on the lot. The dealership looked for the color combination I wanted for over a week and found no such car was available within 600 miles. I then settled for a different color Interior if they gave me a remote start at cost and they did. When I came to get the car, the paperwork was all ready for me to sign. Because of having to show me things like MySymc, we were unable to contact my Credit Union for payment because it had closed, but they accepted the email I had indicating how much I could finance. My credit union messed up making the payment and Rebecca was very nice and just let me know there was a problem so I could clear it up quickly. I was very happy with the speed and quality of the after purchase work and would use their service department again. More
