Hiding Behind a Change of Ownership We bought my car new from previous owner 4 years ago, < 6 months ago bought my son's 1st car (low-miles, used). i have an extended warranty, and leve We bought my car new from previous owner 4 years ago, < 6 months ago bought my son's 1st car (low-miles, used). i have an extended warranty, and level of service keeps getting worse, with last oil change taking over 2 hours, no apologies, nothing. The horn stopped working on my son's car last week, at which time he told us his air conditioner has never worked. I called the dealership and 'Jim' told me there was nothing they could do since the previous owner sold it to us and they have none of that paperwork. My husband made an appointment to take the car in, intending to remind previous sales rep of our sale, but than person is gone. My husband spent >2 hours waiting and disputing the $1000 quote to fix the car we've had <6 months. He told them we bought 2 cars and planned to buy a 3rd early next year, but they didn't care. No one apologized, tried to find our paperwork, or in any way tried to retain us as customers. This was by far the WORST service we've had in years, maybe ever... and they don't care. I have emailed twice to have my issues escalated, but no one ever responds. After reading the other reviews here, i really think Gillespie employees wrote them... really, what real people write like that? I wouldn't put it past them. BAD ATTITUDES AND TERRIBLE SERVICE More

STAY AWAY GONE TO xxxx I got my F150 when this dealer was Gurnee Ford. the best ever. Now not so. I went back a day or two later to see if the owner I think his names is Mike was in to let him know my experience after all he's the guy that pay's the bill's also I been try to get my F150 repaired went there 2 times said they can't get to it also new Service Advisor also an xxx. stay away from this dealer . Why "look" when you can "buy"!! Deanna and I walked into Gillespie Ford to get an idea of cars available and price range, We ended up buying a car! Matt was the reason we switched Deanna and I walked into Gillespie Ford to get an idea of cars available and price range, We ended up buying a car! Matt was the reason we switched from "just looking" to buying. He greeted us, was very well informed regarding product, showed us options, and was willing to give us all the time we needed. He and Jim sat down and negotiated with us, initially giving all incentives available to us. This included an additional dealer incentive on top of all other incentives. AND then they were willing to continue negotiating with us. The price was amazing. The service was superior. The experience was refreshing. Dishonest service I took my car to this dealership for an oil change. I gave the service desk guy a The Works coupon for $35. When the service was completed I was giv I took my car to this dealership for an oil change. I gave the service desk guy a The Works coupon for $35. When the service was completed I was given a bill for $48.39 and was told that 8 quarts of oil were used, which I assume was why they charged more. This is in a car that has an oil capacity of 6 quarts. There was no indication of The Works coupon being honored on the invoice. I will not be taking my car to this dealership in the future. More
