Diesel Service I had my Super Duty 6.4L serviced in July when were visiting friends nearby. I found their service writer friendly and helpful. Servicing of my truck was done quicker than they had told me when I arrived. The waiting room was comfortable and clean. We left the next day to continue our trip to Michigan and I noticed that my truck was leaving spots of oil after being parked. Since we were not close to Gillespie I took my truck to the closest Ford dealership. They found that the gasket on the oil plug was cracked; something that had either happened when I had my oil changed or at least the tech should have notice that it was cracked when he changed my oil. I was still on the road for another three weeks and when I returned home I wrote a letter to Gillespie requesting reimbursement for what I felt was their mistake. They followed up quickly with the reimbursement. Other than that, I am please with my experience at Gillespie Ford. More

Chris Hueckstaedt in the service department knows exactly what my truck needs and doesn't try to sell me things I don't want. Everytime I pick my truck up it's washed and clean. Unsatisfied I walked in and gave the salesman a specific transmission and trim that I wanted. Having done my research in advance, I knew this was a car that was not available. Not being sneaky but it provides me with the opportunity to know how knowledgeable the salesman is. It took him about 10 minutes of looking online to figure it out then we moved on to what I needed. I was a bit surprised that after talking through the options, he did not know what the options were for the different trims. I did find a car on the lot that suited my needs and I made the purchase. The salesman pointed out to me that it would be cheaper for me to get new plates rather than transfer as they were a few months from expiration. Good job! You are working on an A+ rating! Finance did not offer me the ford 0% interest loan and in fact with a very high FICO score I got a 4.8% loan which is ridiculous! I made the mistake of telling him that I would pay it off in 6 months so therefore I got hosed on the loan. Lesson learned for the next time I buy a car. After the transaction was complete, it came to the plates. The salesman was pushing to have them transferred. He stated it twice before I had to jump in and remind him of how he told me I needed new plates to save money. You just lost your A+ rating for trying to switch it up. The sales manager made it right and I got new plates. I was told I would get a second key in a week. 2.5 weeks later, I call to inquire. Apparently it was not ordered but the young lady promised me it would be in and it was. She also stated I would have a loaner for the service time however when I went there, it became an issue and I was told they dont provide loaners for this type of service. Just give me what you promised!!! Eventually it was worked out and I got the loaner and picked up my car and the second key the next day. So my first service was not without an issue. If this is a sign of how it is going to be, I will not return. My money and time is valuable and I will not waste it on being promised one thing and having to deal with drama to get it. More

Jerome is the best. Just a couple of days ago we bought a new Explorer from Jerome. Jerome knows everything about the ford explorer. He was friendly and helpful.
