Poor Customer Service My issue with Gillespie Ford is a bit different. In October, while driving east on Grand Ave, I hit a balloon/ball like object that was lying on the r My issue with Gillespie Ford is a bit different. In October, while driving east on Grand Ave, I hit a balloon/ball like object that was lying on the road right in front of me (could not serve out of the way without hitting another car). The impact tore out the plastic wheel well cover of my front left tire. After gathering the debris, I noticed the same balloon/ball like objects on cars at Gillespie. I went to the dealership and talked to one of the managers, Juan Gaona. He looked at what remained of the object and the wheel well and immediately said that they would take care of it. No problem, accidents happen and no one was hurt. What has ensued from that point has been nothing short of horrible customer service. We exchanged emails over the next couple of days – one where he asked for my VIN # so he could get the right part. Then nothing. Everytime I would call, he would ‘connect’ me with the service department to schedule the work. The phone would just ring endlessly each time. I’ve owned cars for close to 40 years and never had a service department that doesn’t answer the phone at any dealership I’ve dealt with. Finally had it fixed at my local dealership. Cost $230. I emailed again asking to be reimbursed and did not receive a reply. Would have cost Gillespie less I’m sure. Why they would want the negative review over such a small amount, I’ll never know. Figures to cost them way more in potential lost business. I’ll pursue this in small claims court out of principle. I can only surmise that this represents their approach to customer service. If I am ever in the market for a Ford, Gillespie is one dealership I would avoid. More

Since we had just a couple months left on our 2015 lease and were definitely going to lease another escape , this was perfect for us. Within just a few days a vehicle matching our exact specifications was located and being transferred to the dealership. What made the most impact on us was that since we live about 3 hours from the dealership, we were able to meet at a location just 45 min from our house to sign all paperwork and switch cars. Speedy , knowledgeable, punctual, professional individuals willing to go above and beyond to provide the best experience for their customers. More

Disappointed in customer service and delivery of a NEW car The NEW car purchased had a scratch on it at delivery and was delivered wet (they didn't even fully dry the car off). For anyone receiving a NEW car - it should have been show room ready. Poor communication with the person who sold us the car as well as top management. Amazing how they talk about good customer service. That was certainly NOT our experience. They admitted to dropping the ball and we are still not 100% satisfied. Guess that doesn't matter. All I can say is WOW.....Not all are treated equally. More
