Test drove and ordered a bronco with this place, 13 months ago. It finally came in while I was out of town. The salesman told me they add $10k over msrp, after the car had finally arrived. I disagreed and they gave me an ultimatum, pay $10k over or they will sell it to someone else. I was able to get them to wait until I was back in town. I showed up to the dealer this morning to find my bronco on the showroom floor, as if it wasn’t my order. After wasting over an hour with the salesman, who had put together a list of over priced used broncos from around the country. Then they worked up an out the door price on my order, which I built to MSRP at $42,065. The price they worked up for me was over $60k. Then they insisted they add a market adjustment to every customer ordered vehicle. I told them that’s insane, and asked why they decided to leave me hanging for 13 months before sharing this with me. They followed up with lies and irrelevant over head numbers the dealer operates with. Sounds like the dealer is struggling and they HAVE to charge well over msrp to make their nut. I gave them an out the door offer, over msrp+tax+doc fees etc, they rejected and said they would sell my bronco to someone else. I walked. Went to a different dealer. They were able to find my order and inform me that Gillespie never attached my name to the order. This was deliberate. They mislead me and then lied to me, knowing my bronco order would actually be their bronco. Very unethical and unprofessional, even for a car salesman. More
Scam artists! ! Do not deal with them or Jim Lojas New Car Manager. They stole my Mach E that I built in January 2002 that was shipped to them on 9-9-22. After ! After checking the emails from Ford they said dealer would contact me after car was ready. Waited a few days, finally reached out to dealer 9-14-22 only to find out they sold the car without emailing me or calling me. They have another Mach E sitting there just a different color same MSRP and refuse to sell it to me cause I called Jim out on all his lies. GO ELSEWHERE!! Already filed a complaint with a FORD representative. COMPLETE JOKE of a dealership. More
Bought a new car Dec. 2020 and had good service. Ordered a truck and bought it Oct. 2021 got an "OK" deal. Ordered 2022 Explorer ST and when it came in they wanted 10k ove 2020 and had good service. Ordered a truck and bought it Oct. 2021 got an "OK" deal. Ordered 2022 Explorer ST and when it came in they wanted 10k over sticker. Would have been the third car in a year I bought from them. They did a good job trying to rip me off. I won't go back. They really are terrible on customer service now. Basically told me if I didn't buy my car they would sell it to the next guy for 10k over sticker. So I told them to keep it. Bottom line. The manager is just greedy. Salesman was good and treated me well. Manager and owner are less than desirable. Don't waste your time going there. More
We went to Gillespie Ford and saw Dan Marino. We had a 2006 Ford Explorer and were looking for a newer car. I was called by one of the sales people at Gillespie Ford named Lee. He told me that a Ford Maverick was in stock. He also told me that the MSRP window sticker price was $24,000. I made an almost 2 hour driv named Lee. He told me that a Ford Maverick was in stock. He also told me that the MSRP window sticker price was $24,000. I made an almost 2 hour drive into the shop the very next morning only to find that this dealership was marking this truck up an extra $10,000. The truck only retails for $20,000 but yet they wanted to mark it up an extra $10,000. That is price gouging. I have reported this dealer to Ford motor company because that is ridiculous. I will also be reporting them to the state of Illinois for false advertisement sending me the price of the vehicle and then raising the price $10,000.They think nothing of their customers to do a bait and switch like that and have someone drive that far only to try and steal an extra $10,000 from them. They would never get my business. Beware of this dealership and it's unethical practices. More

Although the supply of new and used cars are at an all time low. The dealers were able to help my son find his first car. They made us a positive experience.
