I took my Equinox in for routine service. First, it was scheduled really fast - in 2 days. Second, they got me in and out in a timely manner and were very courteous. Highly recommended. Had an oil change, Rotate tires and I guess inspection and service of fluids I assumed. Previous owner always gave me a checklist with items checked/inspected etc and what items need addressed. Interior windshield just has mileage until next. Last item: I had this truck which I purchased new from Grey, I’ve had a chirping noise with engine or belt Assembly. Last trip in, nothing done, this trip nothing. Seems to me the service advisor would ask me/ customer to go out and check with me or even go out and check. You can ask anyone who can hear, especially a drive thru: I need to turn off engine so they can hear you speaking. So I would say I’m not impressed with service, seems to be the trend now a days. Sad. More
I made an appointment on-line, but when I arrived, my appointment could not be found. The service advisor said that this is a problem for them. The scheduling of the appointment remained good. They adapted to my schedule and put the timing where I needed. Greys Chevrolet always felt like visiting family, this was my first visit to Gilchrist for service, it felt like walking into a big, busy dealership, very cold and impersonal. No one said hello, good morn was my first visit to Gilchrist for service, it felt like walking into a big, busy dealership, very cold and impersonal. No one said hello, good morning, or I’ll be right with you, nope nothing. I waited on my car, then waited for 20 minutes for my service rep to finally come and get me. It made me feel like my time, and my vehicles service was unimportant. It’s kind of sad, as my partner and I have purchased 4 vehicles from Greys in the past. More

I loved Gray Chevrolet and it felt like home. Maybe my inability to give Gilchrist 5 stars is because I loved the “personal touch” that Grey Chevrolet offered. With that said, I made my appointment online and was able to get in within a reasonable amount of time. I arrived on time (maybe a few minutes early), was the only customer in the room with 2 employees at the desk and one walking through. It took several minutes for them to look up from their computer and acknowledge me, even though they knew I was there. There was no welcome “hello” but simply an abrupt, “what do you need”. I said that I had an appointment and he asked if I had been here before. I explained that I had when it was Grey Chevrolet. He rolled his eyes and said, “well we aren’t Grey Chevrolet so we have to input everything new” (as if I was inconveniencing him). I left my truck and they called within the hour to tell me it was ready. Service was prompt, fast and done to perfection. My truck was back in my hands in under an hour. That’s great service! So I really have lots of good things to say. I just miss the personal touch that Grey Chevrolet offered when I walked through the door. More
there's no reason to recommend average service. I called to schedule an appointment; was told I could schedule online; scheduled online. when I arrived they didnt have my appointment. They took my truck in anyway but it took longer because they ddnt have my appointment. I dont mind paying more for great service, but not for average or below average service. More
