Greys Chevrolet always felt like visiting family, this was my first visit to Gilchrist for service, it felt like walking into a big, busy dealership, very cold and impersonal. No one said hello, good morning, or I’ll be right with you, nope nothing. I waited on my car, then waited for 20 minutes for my service rep to finally come and get me. It made me feel like my time, and my vehicles service was unimportant. It’s kind of sad, as my partner and I have purchased 4 vehicles from Greys in the past. More

This is the third vehicle I’ve purchased from this dealership but first since they’ve become Gilchrist. The process was easy, pleasant, and enjoyable. Nolan, Sue, and Ron were very patient, helpful, a dealership but first since they’ve become Gilchrist. The process was easy, pleasant, and enjoyable. The only annoyance I have is that I bought the car about 2 weeks ago and still no one has contacted me regarding some additional service that I’m getting done and have already paid for. I loved Gray Chevrolet and it felt like home. Maybe my inability to give Gilchrist 5 stars is because I loved the “personal touch” that Grey Chevrolet offered. With that said, I made my appointment online and was able to get in within a reasonable amount of time. I arrived on time (maybe a few minutes early), was the only customer in the room with 2 employees at the desk and one walking through. It took several minutes for them to look up from their computer and acknowledge me, even though they knew I was there. There was no welcome “hello” but simply an abrupt, “what do you need”. I said that I had an appointment and he asked if I had been here before. I explained that I had when it was Grey Chevrolet. He rolled his eyes and said, “well we aren’t Grey Chevrolet so we have to input everything new” (as if I was inconveniencing him). I left my truck and they called within the hour to tell me it was ready. Service was prompt, fast and done to perfection. My truck was back in my hands in under an hour. That’s great service! So I really have lots of good things to say. I just miss the personal touch that Grey Chevrolet offered when I walked through the door. More
there's no reason to recommend average service. I called to schedule an appointment; was told I could schedule online; scheduled online. when I arrived they didnt have my appointment.
