I brought in my 2023 Chevy Traverse to have a recall service completed. I was told upon drop off that this service would take a total of 10 hours to complete. I asked if a rental car would be available, service completed. I was told upon drop off that this service would take a total of 10 hours to complete. I asked if a rental car would be available, I was told yes, but not until Wednesday. I decided not to take the rental car, because of the hassle of getting transportation and juggling my kids. I dropped the car off on a Tuesday, then called to check on status on Thursday to see if I could pick it up, was told to try calling again on Friday. I called on Friday, was told to call back on Tuesday, Monday was a holiday. Called on Tuesday, told not until Wednesday. Then called on Wednesday, was told it would be ready by that evening, but later got another call saying not until Thursday. I finally got to pick up my car on Thursday. I was extremely disappointed in the time my car was unavailable, but the service rep told me he was going to have to "Eat the cost of the rental car", because of how long it took, so I had to remind him that I never even took the rental car. More
