Our awesome experience! I heard about Gibson truck world from my dad who had purchased a truck a few years prior. I went online to look at the inventory and requested a call. I talked about what I was looking for and what was in stock. Troy was very knowledgeable about the company and the inventory. We made an appointment to come out and look at just Chevy 2500s, I was set that's what I wanted. We walked around the lot and he showed me all the Chevy trucks I was looking for as wells as some rams. With his knowledge and my many questions I actually stepped away from my Chevy and went with a ram 3500. I'm super excited to keep this truck as long as I kept my Chevy! Be cautious with management!!!! I have been looking around for trucks and kept finding myself on the Gibson Truck World website. I drove a little over an hour to Gibson and was greet I have been looking around for trucks and kept finding myself on the Gibson Truck World website. I drove a little over an hour to Gibson and was greeted by a salesman by the name of Andy. It was a nasty day as it was raining off and on and I had my wife and three young kids so the shopping part wasn't exactly easy but not once did i get the feeling that Andy was frustrated. We looked at several trucks and walked around the lot several times and still Andy was amazing to deal with. We found the truck we liked so I sat down to see what the numbers looked like. That's when Chris came over and things went south fast. I wanted to know what the interest rates were and all he was worried about was running my credit. He told me multiple times that he could not tell me a ballpark interest rate until he ran my credit. Chris was very very rude so i went to get up and walk out and that's when Michael came and saved the sale. And what do you know, he came with a paper with the term lengths and the interest rates to go with them. After going back and forth we found that my bank had the best interest rate so we did the deal. Before the deal i found a few small scratches that they agreed to fix the following Monday as this was Saturday and the detail guy wasn't there. They also said they would put gas in the truck due to me having to drive back and inconveniencing me. Took the truck back that Monday to fix the scratches, the tires were rubbing and it did not have a receiver for a hitch. A 40k dollar truck and it doesn't have a hitch. So i was sent to Blaine to talk about getting a hitch. He informed me that he couldn't put a hitch on my truck as they didn't make enough money to be able to. xx but anyways we went back and forth and it got to the point to me having to threaten to trade it in for a truck that has a hitch. Due to their 15 day exchange policy they have to honor this. Blaine still did not agree to put a hitch on the truck i had purchased and said lets start the exchange paperwork. So i stormed out and started looking at trucks and about 5 seconds later here comes Blaine running out the door saying that he will put a hitch on the truck. I got a hitch put on and the scratches fixed and they also fixed the tire rub. Bottom line is Andy was great but once you get to management that's when my problems started. But i will say that Blaine did make it right when i had to go back for a third time to get the truck detailed because they never did it as they promised. Andy, and Michael were great. Blaine was great after we got passed the hitch situation. He filled my truck up with gas for all the problems I've had to this point. The only rude guy that i dealt with was Chris and if I go back i will not deal with him. If i ever need another truck i will give Gibson another chance. Just be cautious with management. More
