First oil change service . Took my Used Truck purchased from Gibson Truck World for first oil change , Did not really know what to expect. I was immediately met by Richard , wh Took my Used Truck purchased from Gibson Truck World for first oil change , Did not really know what to expect. I was immediately met by Richard , who was polite and informed me he would take it to service , after returning he informed me how long they would be and if there was anything else he could do for me . I asked if he could change the air filter .and he said they could, I waited outside Having a bottle of (Gibson Truck World) Water with some other customers , then having a question about my Navigation I returned and spoke to Richard and Brandon , Brandon Knew about the problem and Said he would take a look as soon as it was Serviced . The Truck finished Service was brought to me Just where I parked it . Brandon took a look at it and showed me the problem and he rectified it at no charge . I found it a pleasure to purchase this Vehicle from Gibson and now even more so to have my Truck serviced by a professional Team of people that treated me with respect and at no cost to me . There was another couple there and they were treated with the same Respect and Kindness. Thank you to the Service Team Carol , Brandon and Richard . Do yourself a favor and check out Gibson Truck World first. If you're in the market... go see GTW before you buy. At the very least, you'll leave knowing exactly how much more you'll be paying for that NEW truc If you're in the market... go see GTW before you buy. At the very least, you'll leave knowing exactly how much more you'll be paying for that NEW truck from the GM dealer!! I figure I saved about $12k buying pre-owned with low miles than a brand new 2018 even with the rebates. Please read on for the details. I've known about Gibson Truck World for years. Driven past it many times and often admired the choices. But I never bought one... until now. I wanted a NEW Sierra and shopped 3-5 GMC Dealers. All of them were tough to deal with when it came down to price. Most of the "sales" people had to go back and forth between me and their manager for approval. I'd get automated text messages at 11:30 pm just because I sent an email expressing my interest. Yes... they responded...but not one of them provided a unique value to me. So...I went to GTW just to see what they had to offer. I met with Vince Hoskins based on a referral from a friend. I was immediately put at ease...The guy was so friendly and relaxed he made me relaxed too. Vince took me through their shop...(Yes they service their trucks too.) and we discussed how every single truck that hits their lot is inspected before it goes on sale. Many don't even make the cut, so you know the once that do are perfect. Vince introduced me to some of the guys in the service shop who have been working there for 15, 18 and some 20 years. Good Stuff. I browsed a little... Then Vince and I drove at least 3 different trucks and trust me.... there was zero pressure for me to decide. I ended up buying a PERFECT, CLEAN and GORGEOUS 2017 Z71 Silverado that not only met my needs... but had only 6100 miles on it. I've already spread the word amongst my friends and I can tell you with no equivocation... I'll be buying from Gibson again when I'm ready. Folks... this is a real review. I'm a real customer.
