Terrible Terrible Place So beside my initial buying process which was nothing short of a pressure filled shady deal in which the salesman told me a price and when we went to So beside my initial buying process which was nothing short of a pressure filled shady deal in which the salesman told me a price and when we went to finance was thousands more than advertised. I told him this is not what we talked about, so he left and came back with a price closer to what the payments should have actually been. Now, i scheduled an oil change, they had no record of me making an appointment. So after waiting almost an hour I look into the maintenance area and see my truck sitting there. another 20 minutes goes by and i still see it sitting there so i ask someone if it is done. he says yes but they lost my paperwork. So i finally go to leave and they had washed my truck which may have been nice had they not put scratches down the side. Also be prepared to answer annoying calls about buying a new vehicle after you already bought one, get your email and mailbox full of ads, but hey if that's what your into Ghent is for you. More
Don't find service like this much anymore!!!! My car was out of commision. We called another place prior to calling Ghent however, yhe gentleman on the phone at that place was not overly nice so w My car was out of commision. The gal that answered the service phone call was so helpful from beginning to end. We got the car to them and got a rental car from them also. I got to pick what I wanted from their cars too! We got the car to them after they closed, they opened at 8:00. By 11:00am they had called and mycar was done! They also took care of the rental car! Tonya is AMAZING! She puts her customers first. We will be coming to her for all of our needs with vehicles. More
Best Cutomer service I took my 2013 Chevrolet Malibu in to have oil changed and to have a license bracket attached. The wait was short for the oil change, and they ordere I took my 2013 Chevrolet Malibu in to have oil changed and to have a license bracket attached. The wait was short for the oil change, and they ordered my bracket. The bracket was in early the next day, I did not understand the process to have it installed, and the Service Manager, Ron, and Service Advisor, Tonya, made sure I left the dealership with bracket attached, and were very patient with me. I will ALWAYS return to this dealership for all my service needs!!! More

Bad business practices In March we purchased a 2008 hybrid Tahoe for 18k from Ghent and paid $2250 for a three year extended warranty. The process was simple and pleasant. W In March we purchased a 2008 hybrid Tahoe for 18k from Ghent and paid $2250 for a three year extended warranty. The process was simple and pleasant. We had to replace the spark plugs, brakes, roder and tires but these were to be expected. The first week in December the car began to make knocking noise. I called Ghent to ask if my warranty would cover this and they said the warranty wasn't valid because it was a hybrid. I asked why the cost of the warranty wasn't refunded and they said there had been a paper mix up and they would send me the $2250. I told the guy I was speaking to that I only wanted a car with a warranty so he transferred me to sales where I told the salesman what happened and he said he would help me find another vehicle but then stopped returning my calls and emails. The car started dying later that week so instead of driving it to Ghent I payed to have it towed there. They said it needed a new engine at the price of $7300. I was in shock. I went into the sales (since they wouldn't return my calls) and spoke with a salesman about the whole situation buying the car with the warranty, the warranty not being valid but no one telling me or refunding it and he was very compassionate. I told him I wanted to trade back in the Tahoe that I had bought from them and get a car with warranty. After about two hours of waiting they told me they would give me only $4k for the car I paid $18k for just a few months ago. They stood to make over $8k plus on the Tahoe after fixing it and all said and done they were intent on screwing me out of more money even though I had already been through so much. I would never ever recommend someone do business with these individuals. Their business practices are immoral and only concerned with money not with standing behind their vehicles or their warranties. More
