Great Service Department, Great Sales Department! We have had our Avalon and Tacoma serviced at Gettel since we moved back to Florida two years ago. Everybody we have met at the dealership have been We have had our Avalon and Tacoma serviced at Gettel since we moved back to Florida two years ago. Everybody we have met at the dealership have been friendly and very helpful. (and yes the customer waiting area is top-notch!!) After 294,000 miles it was about time to replace the Avalon. My wife is convinced it will last another 100,000 and I am sure its good for at least 50-60k but I know she is right! We had been been looking around and talking about an SUV type vehicle for a while... I have done a lot of Internet research, auto shows, cars.com reviews, edmunds.com, car dealer websites and visits, etc. etc. etc. We went in to Gettel to check out a few specific used and new vehicles (they have a great selection), and the sales department folks were wonderful. To sum it up we now have a beautiful new RAV4 and are looking forward to the next 300000 miles !! I would definitely recommend Gettel to anybody that is looking to buy a car or a really good service department! More

Abysmal experience...still paying for it Was invited in based on my perfect 2 1/2 year Toyota payment history, insulted subtly, then openly over my "bad credit" (not perfect, not bad...recent Was invited in based on my perfect 2 1/2 year Toyota payment history, insulted subtly, then openly over my "bad credit" (not perfect, not bad...recent housing setback), declined to buy a car and have been receiving written rejection letters from dozens of financial institutions for weeks, each of which damages my credit further, none of which I had any idea they were applying for on my behalf. In sum, think of the worst bait-and-switch car dealer experience, add in subtle insult, shaming, bullying and culminating with open insult and punishment. Toyota is a good car. Buy yours anywhere but Lakewood Toyota. More
