We originally drove from Melbourne Fl a 3.5 hour trip to look at a used Camry at a different dealer. Then we went online and saw that you had a used Camry as well. He eventually became our salesman showing us the used Camry first then he showed us the new 2022 Camry XSE loaded and needless to say the wife loved it. Brian, got with Jonathan the general manager who came over took the time and educated us on the used car market. He made a fair offer and we drove back home 3.5 hours. They sent a text message understanding we just drove 3.5 hours one way to purchase a car and we were obviously serious on purchasing a vehicle that day. The following day we called Brian and said, we will drive back please have the car ready. The car was ready and the process was super easy. We called our bank which had a 3.54 rate and Toyota was 1.49….obviously we used Toyota. The financial lady was also awesome ( I wish I could remember her name as well) she was great. I would absolutely recommend Toyota of Lakewood! More

They are super great when it comes to urgent matters. For example my gas door would not open. I was sitting on empty and unsure of what to do. They let me drive up and fixed it for me. We purchased a car on July 27th and it was by far the WORST experience ever. First of all, Gettel Toyota adds $2,500.00 for the Gettel Certified Plus and delivery fees. It is a 2019 Fiat 124 Spider with WORST experience ever. First of all, Gettel Toyota adds $2,500.00 for the Gettel Certified Plus and delivery fees. It is a 2019 Fiat 124 Spider with 12,000 miles that somebody traded in. We were there almost 6 hours and then were misled about a number of additional products. We never even got a copy of the agreement. The finance manager literally handed us a flash drive so we can look at the paperwork at home. When I looked at the agreement there were a number of additions that were much more than the finance manager had led us to believe. We called the next day to inquire about the differences, but the finance manager was not there that day or the next day. We talked with a different person and she was going to make the changes for us. It ended up that even though $2,640.00 were removed, our payment is going to stay the same, but at the end we are going to owe less. Really, are you kidding me?? Since then we never got an updated agreement or any notification that the changes were made. If we didn't really like the car we would have returned it. We would NEVER buy another vehicle from Gettel Toyota of Lakewood and would for sure NEVER recommend the store to anybody! The worst part about the purchase is that the sales person is our next door neighor! Thanks a lot! More
