Was told 1. 1/2 hour for install. 2 1/2 hours later I go find car in garage sitting on floor nothing done. Oh our tool broke they said🙁. Service Department sucks! Took in my daughter's car for a 2:30pm oil change appt. Waited 2 hours! Ridiculous. The service guy was rude. Not customer service friendly at all! Will not give them my business or return to this establishment. When I got the car back I think they messed up the alignment or something is off. I think because i declined on new tires! Oil change disaster. I’m from Michigan and use Gettel to service my 4RUNNER while staying in Florida. I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation 3/9/20. My wait time for the service was 1 1/2 hours and cost $95.00 both high compared to the Toyota dealer in Michigan. Upon returning to St. James City, where we are staying, I look under the vehicle and notice oil running out of the bottom of the motor. I look under the vehicle and the underside is covered in oil. A check of the dip stick shows nothing. The puddle under the car keeps growing as I’m calling the dealer. The service manager I asked to talk to was understanding and helpful in working out a plan of action to rectify the situation. The service technician that worked on my car was sent to me and properly changed the oil a second time in my driveway. I was fortunate the motor was not hurt. Another two guys were sent the next day to clean the driveway. It was a decent response to a problem that should not have happened in the first place. It would be easy to write this off as a problem with the technician that performed the work but is it? I think it might suggest there is a problem with the mindset at the dealer itself. Was the technician probably trained, Was he given enough time to do the job the way the Toyota service manual suggests the procedure be done? Changing the oil on a car seems like a simple task but the problem I experienced shows the potential cost of not doing it correctly the first time. Making sure technicians are trained and given time and tools to do the job correctly is critical. This experience was a huge disruption to me and the dealer. The dealer did a good job rectifying the problem but it should never have happened. More

I asked him about how to get rid of a water stain on the passenger front seat. He took it upon himself to go to the detail department to ask about it. He called me to let me know they could handle it and the cost. When I retrieved my car it had been taken care. I hope to be able to continue working with John whenever I have service. A further note, I had left 3 messages with the Auto Butler department over a time span of more than a week requesting a date to bring my car in. Two of the messages I left were with the person who I was told did the scheduling for Auto Butler (maybe Kelly?) and the other was with Mike. No one returned my calls. When I called J. Tremblay he immediately set up an appointment. More
Will never take my car back to Gettel in Punta Gorda for service again as untrustworthy . Went for 30,000 mile maintenance of 2015 Camry which maintenance manual said was oil change & tire rotation.
