They gave me a 2 pm appointment for an oil change. I left the dealership at 3:55 pm. Jiffy Lube would have taken 30 min and been a lot cheaper. Bob Bruno in service is great. Only problem is that my new 2020 Avalon has excessive wind noise and Toyota says it can’t fix it. My 2012 Avalon is much quieter and much less expensive. Repairs from an examination of my vehicle I had my car evaluated for readiness of an extended trip. The dealership provided a list and I had repairs based on the list. I made two appointments and both were handled I thought professional and convenient to my schedule. I understand the overhead of a dealer is quite high but I believe the “flat rate” prices quoted were also quite high. My advisor Max did offer some discounts and I moved forward to some of the suggested repairs. I understand all too well the cost of brick and mortar facilities, but it they want real customer loyalty after the warranty period they must stop using the service dept. as a profit center. There are many certified repair facilities that can repair vehicles at half the rate the dealer is charging. More
