Love our new RAV4 Hybrid It is tough to find a hybrid but we were able to get one that fit our needs at Gettel Toyota of Charlotte County. The salesperson we worked with, Ric It is tough to find a hybrid but we were able to get one that fit our needs at Gettel Toyota of Charlotte County. The salesperson we worked with, Ricardo Rodriguez, was truly exceptional. We showed up at the end of the day on a Sunday and he took the time to test drive several hybrids and showed us each of their special features. He wasn't pushy but helped us find the car that met our needs. We want to reduce our carbon footprint so we were looking for a hybrid that would hold our tandem bicycle and a kayak, with light colored interior, that we could afford, and feel good driving -for about ten years! We believe our new RAV4 Hybrid will deliver. The whole team of people working at this dealership were friendly, knowledgeable and graciously went above and beyond to make it a positive experience. Above & beyond As a senior who is the "family car guy" I have been involved in over 100 transactions ranging from used clunkers to new Mercedes. I was blown away by As a senior who is the "family car guy" I have been involved in over 100 transactions ranging from used clunkers to new Mercedes. I was blown away by this agency's corporate culture. While It is common to find 1 or 2 competent associates, it is rare to discover an entire team committed to making the buying experience pleasant. At the same time Gettel is selling their cars using competitive pricing. We stopped by on our way home to look at a year old, high line car. Having arrived at an acceptable deal, I mentioned that it appeared in need of a front-end alignment. However, their service department was closed. Living 150 miles away, I was not looking forward to a return trip. BEFORE, I had an opportunity to say anything, Derrick (sales manager) said, " No problem. We will deliver the car to you tomorrow." The salesman called that morning to make sure we arrived home safely. He knew it was late when we left and had stop for dinner before the 2 1/2 drive home. Our car arrived at 1:00 and the associate used our trade-in for his return. It had a full tank of gas & he swapped tags. Mike, the salesman, called a few hours later to assure all was well..We reviewed the settlement sheet and had some questions. When connected to John (finance associate), he immediately informed me that one of the numbers was an estimate and a $67 refund check was already in the mail to us. (An unexpected refund after the sale??? Pinch me!) In summation, this was an unexpected experience. It made car buying a pleasant experience. More
