Desmond Pierre, the sales person for Toyota takes care of his customers. I Have bought many cars from him for the last 15 years. I had an issue with Gettel Chrysler Jeep. The service Dept sales manager and his customers. I Have bought many cars from him for the last 15 years. I had an issue with Gettel Chrysler Jeep. The service Dept sales manager and parts Dept treated me like dirt. I never got a call back from them to deal with my Passenger headrest that deployed automatically as a defect. I will never buy another car from Gettel Chrysler Jeep. I will only deal with Desmond. He is the best sales person I ever had. It's sad when you have to go to another dealership, another car manufacturer to have something taken care of that they should've honored. After spending $700.00 for the part they said I could replace myself, they then wanted to charge me an additional $200.00 to install it when I was then told they had to reprogram it. Gettel Toyota did it for free. The service was fantastic from Toyota. Desmond the sales person and Kelly in service Dept. Thank you again for the Superb service. The rest of the company should follow your steps For good customer service to a loyal customer that I had been for the last 15 years. That's about 9 cars between me and my wife alone. More

Was told 1. 1/2 hour for install. 2 1/2 hours later I go find car in garage sitting on floor nothing done. Oh our tool broke they said🙁. Service Department sucks! Took in my daughter's car for a 2:30pm oil change appt. Waited 2 hours! Ridiculous. The service guy was rude. Not customer service friendly at all! Oil change disaster. I’m from Michigan and use Gettel to service my 4RUNNER while staying in Florida. I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation 3/9/20. M I’m from Michigan and use Gettel to service my 4RUNNER while staying in Florida. I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation 3/9/20. My wait time for the service was 1 1/2 hours and cost $95.00 both high compared to the Toyota dealer in Michigan. Upon returning to St. James City, where we are staying, I look under the vehicle and notice oil running out of the bottom of the motor. I look under the vehicle and the underside is covered in oil. A check of the dip stick shows nothing. The puddle under the car keeps growing as I’m calling the dealer. The service manager I asked to talk to was understanding and helpful in working out a plan of action to rectify the situation. The service technician that worked on my car was sent to me and properly changed the oil a second time in my driveway. I was fortunate the motor was not hurt. Another two guys were sent the next day to clean the driveway. It was a decent response to a problem that should not have happened in the first place. It would be easy to write this off as a problem with the technician that performed the work but is it? I think it might suggest there is a problem with the mindset at the dealer itself. Was the technician probably trained, Was he given enough time to do the job the way the Toyota service manual suggests the procedure be done? Changing the oil on a car seems like a simple task but the problem I experienced shows the potential cost of not doing it correctly the first time. Making sure technicians are trained and given time and tools to do the job correctly is critical. This experience was a huge disruption to me and the dealer. The dealer did a good job rectifying the problem but it should never have happened. More
