False Advertising I went to Gettel with a coupon for an oil change. They tried to tack on $16 for oil above the quoted price on the coupon. Unfortunately, they succeeded (after they sold me, they came into the waiting room and did the exact same with another customer...). When I went to pay, they added other shop fees that were not in the quote. Said it is normal to add parts and fees. Not at any other car service I have ever gone to!. So, then they tried to just subtract the incremental fee, and leave the tax charge on the higher total. Three times wrong - and no apology or remorse. Acted like it was my problem. Clearly dishonest. If it was an honest mistake, they would have been apologetic. Will never go back. P.S. The A/C maintenance resulted in a horrible noise from the fan - like they damaged it! More

Thought the price was a little high until I checked the tire stores and club warehouses. Gettel was cheaper for the same tires. Got me in, took care of my tires without trying to sell me a bunch on other stuff. Was out in a couple of hours. They even bought me breakfast and a car wash. Can't beat them. More
Consistently good service on my Prius. I live closer to another Toyota store and still choose this shop for all my repairs. Every time I bring my Automobile to this store I feel like I have issues resolved efficiently. I don't get the sense that they overcharge or recommend unneeded services. Disappointed I recently had my 2006 Toyota 4 Runner in for service, 5/13/2016. I had oil change, tires rotated, wipers replaced all around, new headlamp. During I recently had my 2006 Toyota 4 Runner in for service, 5/13/2016. I had oil change, tires rotated, wipers replaced all around, new headlamp. During the recent tropical storm, I found that after my service my back window wiper and washer do not work anymore, and that the service technician did not refill any fluids during the service, ie., windshield wiper fluid, as I found today, that my windshield wiper fluid is gone. They obviously did not fill the fluid at the time of service. Let alone that the back wiper does not work at all now since my service. I have been a Toyota owner for over 25 years and have only had my vehicles serviced at Toyota Dealers. This is the first time that in those 25 years that my fluids were not topped off/refilled, as part of the 27 point inspection. Makes me wonder what other fluid levels were checked and not topped off or refilled, like transmission fluid, brake fluid, transfer case oil, etc. You were very quick to recommend me to do preventative maintenance items costing around $2000, and try to sell me a new car, but can't even top off/fill my windshield wiper fluid and make sure that the rear window wiper and washer were in working order at the end of the service visit. More

Poor workmanship and disgusting customer service I received a letter that my Toyota had a few recalls, one of which was a spiral cable assembly for the steering wheel air bag and the other was replac I received a letter that my Toyota had a few recalls, one of which was a spiral cable assembly for the steering wheel air bag and the other was replacing the driver and passenger seat track assembly. So I brought my vehicle to Gettel Toyota of Bradenton where I originally purchased the vehicle brand new. Craig, one of the service managers took care of me during the process and when the repairs had been completed he spoke with me about needing my brakes replaced soon. In this case I said fine how much would it run and he stated $300 and he would take care of the rental vehicle since it's the only vehicle I have and rely on it to get to and from work which I travel over 60 miles per day. Thought it was a nice gesture of Craig to flat out offer to cover the rental. Driving home I realized the driver seat track was loose, so of course I call the next day and Craig says to bring it in and he'd look it over. Craig looked over everything and said that everything seems to be fine now. Driving home same issue, call craig says that he'd look over it when they replaced my brakes. Brought the vehicle in to replace the brakes and have them look over the seat tracks and picked my car up two days later due to a part needing to be order. Picked up the bill and my car and Craig charged me for the rental that he said he would take car of and my seat track was still loose. Drove it home and realized my brakes are now making a metal on metal noise and the brake pedal goes to the floor!!! Called Craig and told him what was going on and he proceeds to cop an angry attitude with me and says, " We can't keep looking at your car for free. If we look at your car again, that's it!" He demands. I have never experienced an issue like this before and demand a refund in full for the $341 bill as I will need to take my vehicle some where else because I do not feel safe with this team working on my vehicle. This is an extreme safety issue and do not feel this is the proper way to take care of a customer that's been doing business with this company since 2008. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, my state attorney, and Toyota's Corporate office. More
